Why We Offer These Workshops

Sometimes, a regular class just isn’t enough. There’s always something more to discover in yoga, and these workshops are my way of helping you get there. We follow the teachings of Swami Sivananda and Swami Vishnudevananda, but honestly, I also learn something new every time we gather. If you feel stuck or just want to go deeper, these sessions are for you.

What to Expect

  • Each workshop focuses on one thing - could be getting your Headstand alignment right (Sirsasana), playing with balance, or building flexibility.
  • Some sessions dig into pranayama breathwork, so you actually feel the shift in your energy levels, not just read about it.
  • We sometimes mix in art or meditation, like drawing sacred geometry, because yoga’s not just about the body.
  • I try to keep things simple, but you’ll definitely hear me say “shanti, shanti, shanti” (peace, peace, peace) when things get tough.

  • First-timers who want the basics, like how not to hurt your neck in a headstand.
  • Old-timers chasing that next level - maybe advanced asana training or learning how to listen to their own body.
  • Anyone who’s curious, confused, or just wants to feel part of a chilled-out, supportive group.

My Story

Om Namah Shivaya. We’re the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Nataraja Centre, Delhi. Our teachers, Swami Sivananda and Swami Vishnudevananda, taught us—health is wealth, peace of mind is happiness, and yoga is the way. For us, yoga isn’t just exercise, it’s living. Our centre’s a place to breathe, chant, meditate, and celebrate festivals together. Some call us their lifeline. New or old to yoga, you’ll find your spot here.

My Work

Daily Yoga Classes & Courses - We offer traditional Sivananda yoga classes, from beginner to advanced, plus special sessions for kids and prenatal care.

Guided Pranayama & Meditation - Learn breathing techniques and meditation through guided pranayama sessions and morning-evening practice.

Spiritual Satsang Gatherings - Join our regular satsangs for chanting, meditation, and celebrating spiritual festivals with the community.

Shat Kriya Workshops - We hold workshops on cleansing exercises (shat kriyas) and yoga techniques for deeper practice.

Kids Yoga & Storytelling - Special classes for children include yoga postures and spiritual storytelling to nurture body and mind.
