Deepen your physical practice with systematic, step-by-step guidance on advanced asanas and inversions in a safe, supportive environment in South Delhi.

This video showcases the strength, balance, and grace cultivated in our advanced asana classes. From inversions to arm balances, we guide you to explore your potential and find stillness even in the most challenging postures.

The headstand is called the king of asanas for its immense physical and mental benefits. This video explains the yogic philosophy behind the posture and invites you to our dedicated workshop to learn the eight steps to master it safely.

A demonstration of Purna Dhanurasana (Full Bow Pose), an advanced backbend that opens the heart and strengthens the entire front of the body. Our classes help you build the flexibility and strength required for such deep postures.

Arm balances like Bakasana (Crow Pose) require concentration and a focused mind. Our balancing workshops are designed to help all levels, from beginners struggling to find stability to advanced students refining their practice.

Our Headstand Workshops provide a safe and supportive environment to learn this powerful inversion. We guide you systematically through the steps, giving you the confidence to practice safely at home and in class.

The Eka Pada Rajakapotasana (One-Legged King Pigeon Pose) is a deep hip and heart opener. This photo captures a student in our advanced class, practicing within the serene and spiritual environment of our centre.

Karnapidasana (Ear Pressure Pose) is a deep forward-folding inversion that calms the nervous system. In our classes, we explore variations to make such postures accessible and beneficial for different body types.

A variation of Sirsasana (Headstand) that challenges balance and core stability. Our advanced sessions encourage playful exploration of asanas while maintaining a foundation of safety and mindful awareness.

This sequence shows the journey of finding peace and comfort through a dedicated spiritual path. The practice of asanas, from backbends to forward folds, becomes a moving meditation that heals and strengthens from within.

About Advanced Asana & Inversions

Our approach to advanced postures, such as Sirsasana (Headstand) or Eka Pada Rajakapotasana, is built on safety and steady progression rather than intensity. We maintain a distraction-free studio with no mirrors or music, allowing you to focus entirely on your internal alignment and breath. Whether you are working toward your first inversion or refining a challenging arm balance, our teachers provide hands-on adjustments to help you move with confidence.

Our Philosophy on Advanced Asanas

Yoga is a journey toward self-mastery. In our advanced classes, we prioritize the traditional Sivananda sequence, ensuring that every inversion or backbend serves to strengthen both the body and the mind. We do not practice to show off but to align the energy within.

What to Expect in Our Workshops

Our workshops are designed for students who want to break down complex movements. We focus on the mechanics of the body so you can practice without injury. For example, our Headstand workshops break the posture into eight distinct steps. We also explore:

  • Inversions: Developing confidence in Sirsasana and its variations.
  • Arm Balances: Building core stability and mental focus for poses like Bakasana.
  • Backbends: Opening the heart and spine safely through Purna Dhanurasana and similar postures.

Structured Learning vs. Drop-in

We offer both single-session technical workshops and structured 5-week progression courses. The courses are ideal if you want to see consistent improvement over time, as you train with the same group. Single workshops are perfect if you want to target a specific skill like breathwork, cleansing techniques, or a particular asana.

All sessions are held at our Kailash Colony studio in New Delhi. We use both English and Sanskrit terminology to help you understand the lineage and significance behind every movement. Please note that we provide community mats, but you are welcome to bring your own.
