About Yoga Workshops & Retreats
Why I Started
Sometimes, life just needs a pause. I've been through burnout myself, so I made these yoga workshops and retreats for people who want to slow down, get real with themselves, and just breathe. No fancy poses, no pressure. You show up as you are.
Retreats for a Real Reset
When a quick fix isn’t enough, my Himalayan yoga retreat is the big reset button. We get away to peaceful spots like the hills, unplug from city noise, eat good food, and lean into deep self-reflection. Our groups stay small - I want everyone to feel seen. Expect simple rooms, wholesome meals, and a lot of nature.
What we do:
- Yoga Asana and slow, mindful movement workshops
- Meditation, plus sound healing meditation sessions
- Group talks, mindful walks, and time to just be
- Food that actually nourishes you
Travel is on you, but once you’re there, I take care of the rest.
Workshops & Courses
If you’re near Delhi or Gurugram, my shorter sessions or beginner-friendly yoga course might be your thing. All levels are welcome, even if you’re just curious. My Ashtanga Yoga course is a week-long, hands-on intro, and I mix in mini-retreats with art, pottery, and other ways to de-stress.
Sometimes I bring in guest teachers for deep dives into yoga philosophy or breathwork. No two events are the same.
What You Can Expect
I keep it honest. Some days you’ll feel great, other days not so much. That’s okay. My job is to make sure you have a safe space, a little bit of calm, and a way to reconnect with yourself.

My Story
Hey, we’re The Shala. Sonakshi here - I’m the one guiding you. Burnout hit me hard once, even though I teach calm, so I ran off to Dharamkot for ten days just to breathe again. Turns out, wellness isn’t about chasing perfection. Sometimes you need yoga, sometimes you need to rot in bed and doom scroll. I love journaling, mountains, thrillers, and cuddling my dog Kiwi. Ordinary stuff, slow days - that’s real balance for me.
My Work
All About Ashtanga & More - We offer Mysore style Ashtanga classes, private sessions, beginner-friendly yoga workshops, and wellness retreats in Dharamkot.
Mysore Style - No Stress - Mysore style is super flexible, not scary. Just show up as you are, and let the practice do its thing.
Way Beyond Poses - It’s not about fancy shapes. We get grounded, find focus, and learn to handle discomfort for better living.
Beginners, You’re Home - New to yoga? Perfect. We love working with beginners. Just bring your curiosity and willingness to try.
