This graphic announces our Chakra Workshop, an intermediate session integrating theory and practice. We explore the centers of vital energy, their connection to consciousness, and how asanas can awaken our inner potential.
Yoga is a path of meditation that extends beyond asanas. In our Sri Yantra drawing workshops, we use the meditative process of creating sacred geometry to quiet the mind, foster concentration, and connect with the divine feminine energy.
We preserve and teach the traditional cleansing techniques of Hatha Yoga. This image shows a practitioner during a Shat Kriya workshop, learning Jala Neti, a powerful method for purifying the nasal passages and enhancing respiratory health.
About Community Classes & Special Workshops
Our workshops move away from the distractions of modern fitness studios. Here in our Kailash Colony centre, you won’t find loud music or mirrors; we focus entirely on the internal experience. Whether you are learning Jala Neti for the first time or breaking down your Sirsasana (headstand) alignment, our senior teachers guide you through these techniques using the traditional Sivananda approach.
Join our community for weekly themed classes and unique workshops designed to help you go deeper into your practice. Our Sunday community sessions are open to all levels and offer a recurring space to explore the Sivananda sequence, a core series of twelve postures that balances the entire body and mind.
If you are looking to advance your practice, our technical workshops break down complex techniques into manageable steps. We offer specialized sessions on pranayama breathwork, where you can learn the correct ratios for Kapalabhati and Anuloma Viloma. We also conduct cleansing workshops like Jala Neti and Sutra Neti to purify the nasal passages and improve respiratory health. Please remember that these purification practices require you to arrive on an empty stomach for safety and efficacy.
For those interested in the energetic and meditative side of yoga, our Chakra and Sri Yantra workshops combine ancient theory with active practice, allowing you to connect with inner states of peace. We keep our groups supportive and focused, ensuring every student receives the hands-on adjustment they need to progress safely. All classes are held at our dedicated space in Kailash Colony, South Delhi, where we strictly maintain a distraction-free environment to encourage deep concentration.
Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Nataraja Centre
We are the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Nataraja Centre, carrying forward the traditional teachings of Swami Sivananda and Swami Vishnudevananda. Our centre is a space to breathe, chant, and practice, where we see yoga as a daily lifeline rather than a fitness trend.
