About Specialized Yoga Workshops
Why These Workshops Are Different
My workshops come straight from my own practice and learning with my teachers—B.K.S. Iyengar, Geetaji, and Prashantji. This isn't just another yoga class. Here, I stick to the real roots of the Iyengar tradition, using asanas (postures) and props to help you go much deeper into your practice and yourself.
What To Expect
- Each workshop runs over a weekend, so it's a proper deep-dive—not just a quick session.
- Every time, we focus on one theme. Could be unlocking the knees, hormone-balancing yoga sessions, or even learning how gut health links to your mood.
- If you’re looking for yoga for joint health or something to help manage stress, you’ll probably find a workshop with that focus.
How We Work
- Props are part of every session—chairs, ropes, blocks, belts, you name it. They help everyone, no matter your age or flexibility.
- Expect detailed alignment cues and support so you can safely explore poses and hold them longer.
- Workshops are a mix—sometimes intense, sometimes slow and precise, but always focused.
Who Can Join
Doesn’t matter if you’re a complete beginner or have been practicing for years. I give alternatives and adjustments so everyone gets something out of it.
Where: Studio or Online
- In person (Delhi): Small groups, lots of hands-on help.
- Online (live on Zoom): I’ll guide and watch you in real time. Sometimes I share recordings so you can revisit the session later.
If you want a focused, immersive yoga experience that goes beyond the usual, you’ll probably feel at home here.

My Story
Guruji B.K.S. Iyengar’s words kinda stuck with me: yoga ferried me from confusion to clarity. I’m Amina, certified Iyengar Yoga teacher, but honestly, always a student first. What I share isn’t just mine - it’s passed down, guru to student, old-school style. Every pose, every breath, it’s about connecting body, mind, soul. Discipline, yes, but also kindness to yourself. My job? Just holding space, passing on what my teachers gave me. We’re all just finding that little spark inside.
My Work
Certified Iyengar Yoga Classes (Online & Delhi Studio) - I teach all levels, from beginners to advanced, with special focus on certified Iyengar Yoga classes and therapeutic yoga for back pain.
Precision and Alignment - We get into the ‘how’ and ‘why’ of every asana, not just the shape. It’s about learning with your whole body.
Props Make Yoga for Everyone - Chairs, belts, blocks, bolsters - Iyengar yoga with props means anyone can join, no matter your age or flexibility.
Beyond Physical - Meditation in Action - Yoga’s not just stretching, it’s quieting the mind, finding balance. That’s what we work on together.
