About Studio Yoga Classes

My Approach: Real Yoga, Real Journey

Yoga isn’t a shortcut. I don’t promise instant results - it’s a journey, not a race. My classes are never about perfection. Sometimes my own practice is a little rough around the edges too, but what matters is that it’s authentic. You’ll get to know your body, feel what’s happening inside, and become more lachila, furtila, taakatvar (flexible, agile, strong).

What Happens in My Studio

My studio in Sector 104, Noida, is calm and uncluttered. We practice in a group but I give personal attention. I’ll guide your body into proper alignment - sometimes with physical adjustments, sometimes with props like blocks, straps, chairs, or even the wall. These aren’t shortcuts, they help you really feel the pose. I’ve had folks who did Surya Namaskar wrong for years, and within days, they felt their bodies open up with the right guidance.

Styles We Practice

We mix things up in every session. You’ll find:

  • Hatha Yoga for balance
  • Power Flow Vinyasa for energy and stamina
  • Yin Yoga for deep calm and healing
  • Strength & Flexibility (sometimes with weights)

Beyond Poses: Healing & Health

Jab hum yoga karte hain, hum body ko stretch karte hain (When we do yoga, we stretch the body). That stretch can help with posture, chronic pain, and even conditions like slip discs or arthritis. I focus a lot on alignment correction yoga and yoga for pain relief. We also work on weight management, women’s health, and mental calm. Students have seen change - sometimes it’s 9-12 kgs lost, sometimes it’s just a better mood.

My Story

Hi, I’m Alpana. Been teaching yoga for 12+ years, and let me tell you, my poses aren’t always Insta-perfect. I share my ups and downs with students – real yoga is messy, full of small wins and setbacks. Hatha yoga, for me, is about finding your own balance inside, like the sun and moon. I love helping folks heal, from slip disc to achy backs. My goal? You walk away feeling lighter, inside and out.

My Work

Yoga Classes for All - I teach Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, Power Yoga, restorative Yin Yoga, and therapeutic yoga for slip disc and arthritis.

Focus on Technique - Sahi dhang se karo, tabhi fayda milega (Do it right, then you get the benefit). I help with alignment and posture.

Patience Over Quick Fixes - Yoga isn’t magic overnight. My classes use slow, mindful moves and props to build awareness.

Targeted Healing - We work on cervical pain, irregular periods, post-natal recovery with specific asanas and pranayama.

Weight Loss & Detox Weekends - Eat well, feel light. Our weight loss detox yoga program is about discipline, not starving.
