Why I Teach Yoga
I came to yoga searching for healing - for my body, mind, and soul. Living with hypothyroidism made me realise how disconnected I felt, so I started practicing to feel better, not just physically but also emotionally. Over time, it became clear this is what I’m meant to do. Now I share this journey with you, keeping it real and open.
What Makes My Classes Holistic
Yoga isn’t just about stretching or sweating. We go beyond asanas (postures) and get into the heart of practice:
- Pranayama (breathwork) to guide prana, our vital energy
- Meditation to quiet the mind and find some peace
- Mantra and chanting for focus and healing vibes
- Bits of yoga philosophy - how ancient ideas fit into our messy, modern lives
Inclusive and Real
Everyone’s welcome - beginners, regulars, anyone who’s curious. I offer modifications so every body can join in, and I pay attention to alignment for safety and healthy energy flow.
Sangha: Our Yoga Family
Practicing together hits different. Our sangha (community) gives support and connection, especially in our hybrid “Special Sangha” sessions focused on breathwork and chanting.
How We Practice
You can join group classes in Gurgaon or online. I also do one-on-one sessions for deeper work, like mindful yoga practice, yoga for emotional resilience, or healing yoga for hypothyroidism.
