Group Yoga Sessions in Bengaluru for Nature and Studio Practice
Whether under the shade of trees or in the quiet of a studio, join me to breathe, move, and reset together.
A simple flow by the water's edge. Practicing outdoors connects me to the elements and reminds me of the natural rhythm of breath and movement.
Stillness is the presence of awareness. Taking a moment for seated meditation by the water, finding clarity and balance in the quiet of nature.
A reminder to pause. Your breath is your reset button. This short video captures the serene landscape that inspires my outdoor practices and meditations.
Finding a moment of playful balance on a boat. Yoga doesn't always have to be serious; sometimes it's about exploring your surroundings with curiosity.
Strength in stillness. Holding Tree Pose (Vrksasana) while gazing out at the water, guided by the rhythm of the ripples.
A workshop focused on breathwork and partner stretches. We explore how connecting with our breath can deepen our physical practice and our connection to others.
Snippets from an indoor workshop. The energy of a group practicing together in a focused space is powerful, creating a collective experience of learning and growth.
About this collection
In our studio sessions at Thanisandra, I provide all the props, including mats and blocks, so you can travel light. For the outdoor flows at parks across the city, please bring your own mat and a bottle of water, as we focus entirely on the elements and open-air movement.
Finding Your Rhythm
Yoga isn't about fitting into a specific shape or achieving a pose you saw online. My group sessions are designed to meet you exactly where you are, whether you are a complete beginner or looking to deepen your practice. We focus on mindful movement that honors your body's current state.
The Styles We Practice
- Vinyasa Flow: A dynamic sequence that links breath with movement. It builds heat, strength, and fluidity, perfect if you need to release pent-up energy.
- Hatha Yoga: A slower, static practice that allows us to hold postures longer. This is excellent for building foundational strength and finding stillness in the mind.
- Yin Yoga: A grounding, meditative practice that targets deep tissues. It is a slow, quiet way to unwind.
Why Practice Outdoors?
Practicing in nature changes the entire experience. When we move under the open sky, we connect more deeply with the natural rhythms around us. The breeze, the sunlight, and the grounding earth provide a sensory backdrop that helps the nervous system exhale. These outdoor sessions are scattered across Bengaluru, making it easier to integrate yoga into your weekend or weekday routine without feeling like you are just going to another gym.
Regardless of the setting, every session starts with gentle centering and ends with a deep, guided relaxation. It is a space to pause, reset, and simply exist.
