Client Transformations and Healing Stories
These stories highlight how yoga acts as a gentle bridge back to your body. From injury recovery to regaining mobility, this is real progress at a human pace.
This is Chinyi's story. After an accident, she was concerned about her left arm. Through consistent yoga and stretch therapy, her physiotherapist confirmed her imbalance was corrected from 10 to 90 percent.

About this collection
When I work with a client recovering from an accident or dealing with chronic pain, my priority is listening to what the body is actually saying. For example, my work with Chinyi focused on addressing a specific left-side imbalance caused by an old injury. We did not rush into deep stretches. Instead, we used consistent, gentle yoga therapy and bodywork to help her correct her posture, moving from stiffness to 90 percent mobility over the course of two years.
Healing is not a linear process, and it certainly does not happen overnight. In my practice at Zen Yoga Shala in Thanisandra, I often see people who come in feeling disconnected from their own bodies, whether due to a past injury, years of desk work, or just the accumulated stress of daily life.
My approach to restorative yoga and bodywork is built on safety and patience. When you come in for a private session, we start exactly where you are. We look at your specific needs, such as a shoulder imbalance or limited range of motion, and build a routine that supports you rather than pushing you.
We often combine:
- Gentle Yoga Therapy: Using asanas that build strength without straining compromised areas.
- Thai-style Bodywork: Hands-on adjustments to release deep tissue tension and improve alignment.
- Mindful Breathwork: Techniques that help the nervous system settle, which is essential for physical recovery.
I believe you do not need to be flexible to start. You just need to be willing to show up. Whether you are looking for post-accident rehabilitation, relief from chronic stiffness, or simply a way to move your body that feels nurturing rather than demanding, I am here to help you find your way back to a state of ease.
