My Yoga Journey and Teaching Philosophy

Yoga is more than just movement. It is a bridge between your body, mind, and spirit. This is the story behind ZenYogaShala—a space to rest, breathe, and reconnect.

I believe that yoga is a powerful tool for long-term postural health. In this video, I discuss how aligning the body can have a profound impact on our overall well-being.

Here, I speak about the foundation of posture. My teaching focuses on building awareness from the ground up, creating a stable and supportive base for all movement.

Poor posture isn't just a cosmetic issue; it affects our breath, our energy, and our confidence. I teach methods to address the root causes of postural imbalances.

As a holistic coach, my work goes beyond physical postures. I aim to guide you toward a more integrated and balanced state of being, both on and off the mat.

I'm developing a postural care series specifically for teachers. This program is designed to address the unique physical strains that come with being an educator.

In my classes and workshops, I show you a few simple methods to improve your posture and overall body awareness. These are tools you can take with you into your daily life.

A simple guided meditation combined with breathwork to start your day. Close your eyes, feel your body soften, and connect with a sense of inner calm and peace.

When you join a session, you aren't here to perfect a pose, but to understand your body’s unique language. Whether we are practicing Vinyasa or deep sound healing, my focus is always on helping you release physical tension and mental chatter so you can leave feeling genuinely lighter.

A Sanctuary for Your Practice

I created ZenYogaShala in Thanisandra because I wanted to offer the kind of space I needed when I felt burnt out—a place where you don't have to perform. My journey into yoga and bodywork taught me that healing isn't a linear path. It is messy, beautiful, and deeply personal.

How I Approach Teaching

My sessions are designed to meet you exactly where you are today. If you are tired, we move slowly. If you have energy to burn, we flow.

  • Holistic Wellness: I blend Vinyasa flow, Hatha, aerial yoga, and sound baths to help you ground your nervous system.
  • Postural Awareness: Many of my students come to me for posture correction and mobility work, addressing the physical toll of office life.
  • Bodywork Integration: My private sessions often incorporate Thai massage-style adjustments to help you unlock deep-seated tension.

I believe the most profound shifts happen when we stop trying to control our bodies and start listening to them. Whether you are an experienced practitioner looking for an aerial challenge or a complete beginner intimidated by the mat, there is room here for you. We move, we laugh, we play, and most importantly, we allow ourselves to reset.
