About Aerial Yoga
Why I Love Aerial Yoga
Aerial yoga is where I get to mix playfulness with the kind of strength and flexibility I never thought I’d have. Hanging in a hammock (yes, the big cloth from the ceiling), I’ve learned that yoga can feel light, challenging, and even a bit magical. Some days, it’s about flying. Other days, it’s about finding quiet balance.
How We Move
The aerial yoga hammock supports you in every pose, letting you stretch deeper and try safe inversions without straining your neck or spine. For me, it’s more than a workout - it’s a way to reconnect with my body and let go of stress. Think of it as a mix of dance, strength, and chill time.
- Build core and upper body strength, without feeling like you’re slogging through gym reps
- Improve flexibility as the hammock helps you ease into stretches you wouldn’t try on a mat
- Balance and focus get better, bit by bit, as you learn to trust the hammock and yourself
Classes for All
If you’re new, don’t stress. I welcome all levels and we move at a pace that feels good for you. Adults join every Saturday morning for a flow that’s equal parts fun and relaxing. For kids (ages 6-12), it’s playful – movement, mindfulness, and the joy of floating. Just bring a mat and water for your little yogi.
Come try beginner aerial yoga class at our studio in Santacruz West. I promise, it’s not about perfect poses - it’s about showing up and maybe, just maybe, seeing the world upside down for a while.

My Story
Movement’s just part of me, you know? Sometimes I’m doing a yoga pose just to grab my keys, sometimes I’m upside down in an aerial hammock laughing with my students. My mat’s my happy place, and I love sharing that – whether it’s a mom-to-be relaxing in prenatal yoga, or the calm that comes from Himalayan singing bowl therapy. We show up, rain or shine, and that’s where the magic happens. Community, balance, and a good smoothie – that’s my vibe.
