About Pilates
Why I Teach Pilates
Movement has always felt like a way to tune in to myself. Pilates, for me, is not just about burning calories or getting abs - it’s about feeling stronger, balanced, and more at home in your body. I try to make classes a space where you push yourself but also listen to what your mind and body need that day.
Types of Pilates I Offer
- Mat Pilates for beginners: This is where I tell most people to start. Just your body, a mat, and a focus on building core strength. It’s low impact, so if you’re recovering from an injury or haven’t worked out in ages, this is a good place to begin.
- MOTR Pilates (More Than a Roller): Want to mix things up? With the MOTR, we target upper body, lower body, and core in one go. I keep these as private sessions, because form and safety matter here.
- Reformer & Prop Work: With springs, straps, and a bunch of props, you’ll feel muscles you didn’t know you had. Great if you want a challenge or just want to try something new.
Who Joins My Classes
Honestly, anyone. I see folks who are total newbies, those bouncing back from injuries, and people wanting something new in their routine. You can come solo or bring a friend for group energy.
How We Train
- Group Mat Pilates sessions at my Santacruz West studio (plus online if you’re not in Mumbai)
- Private one-on-one for any Pilates style, including Reformer Pilates sessions and MOTR
- All levels welcome, and I keep things chill - you don’t have to be a fitness pro to start
What to Expect
Progress isn’t always a straight line. Some days you’ll feel strong, some days not so much. I’m here for all of it, and you can always ask me if you need to adapt something. Let’s see what your body can actually do.

My Story
Movement’s just part of me, you know? Sometimes I’m doing a yoga pose just to grab my keys, sometimes I’m upside down in an aerial hammock laughing with my students. My mat’s my happy place, and I love sharing that – whether it’s a mom-to-be relaxing in prenatal yoga, or the calm that comes from Himalayan singing bowl therapy. We show up, rain or shine, and that’s where the magic happens. Community, balance, and a good smoothie – that’s my vibe.
My Work
Yoga, Pilates & More - I teach yoga for adults and kids, aerial yoga classes, mat pilates, prenatal/postnatal yoga, and sound therapy.
