About

Yoga here isn’t about showing off flexible poses or chasing fitness trends. I see it as a homecoming, a space where you finally get to slow down and listen to yourself. My classes are a mix of movement, breath, and a bit of quiet that lets you tune into your own vibe.

What Happens in Class

  • I teach Hatha, Ashtanga Vinyasa, and Hatha Vinyasa flow classes with a focus on mindful yoga practice. You move with intention, not just muscle memory.
  • Breath work (pranayama) is woven in. It’s what keeps you grounded, helps clear your head, and gives energy when you need it.
  • We sit for meditation. Sometimes it’s super easy, sometimes your mind goes idhar udhar (here and there), but that’s normal.
  • Every session ends with a proper savasana and sound bath relaxation using singing bowls. It’s like pressing reset for your body.

All Levels, All Bodies

Doesn’t matter if you’re a newbie or have been doing yoga for years. Yoga for beginners? Yep, I’ve got you. Sometimes your body feels stiff, muscles tremble, or you don’t get the pose – chalta hai (it’s okay), that’s just part of the journey. I use props, not as shortcuts, but as helpers. They make sure you’re safe and supported wherever you are.

The Space

My shala is simple, full of light, and feels peaceful. Early morning classes have a magic all their own, honestly.

Different Ways to Practice

  • Group classes for that sense of community
  • Private sessions for personal goals
  • Kids yoga that’s fun and playful
  • Workshops to dig deeper into yoga meditation techniques or work on something specific

Yoga here is about your own journey, not perfection.

My Story

Been at this practice for 10+ years now, and honestly, it’s my anchor. Svādhyāya started because I wanted a shala that felt like a homecoming, not just another studio. We’re all about self-reflection here. It’s not only movement - it’s meeting yourself on the mat. There’s magic when people come together, like 108 Surya Namaskars in the rain, or a Yoga Party when someone leaves. I show up for those moments. Come join us, let’s practice and grow.

My Work

Classes & Workshops for Everyone - We offer Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga Vinyasa, Pre & Post Natal Yoga, Nada Yoga (sound healing with singing bowls), and inversion workshops.

Our Approach: More Than A Workout - Here, it’s about moving with breath, finding strength in stillness, and laughing through ‘screaming thighs’. We guide you, step by step.

Special Space for Mothers - Pre & postnatal yoga for mothers - we help you build strength for two, breathe deeper, and move for a happy mama, happy baby.

A Supportive Tribe - Our shala is a fun, warm space. We celebrate breakthroughs together, whether in a group Hatha yoga for beginners or a Women's Day yoga celebration.

Healing Through Sound - We host Nada Yoga workshops - just immerse, let the singing bowls guide you to stillness and awareness.
