I don't believe in cookie-cutter routines. When you join, we discuss your current physical health, whether you are dealing with chronic stiffness or simply seeking better balance. For my senior students in particular, we prioritize safe, supported movements—often using chairs, blocks, and straps—to ensure you can practice without fear of injury. My goal is to build your confidence and mobility so you can move through your day with ease.
Yoga is not just about flexibility or complex asanas. It is about understanding the limitations of the body at different ages and gently expanding them. Whether you are a senior looking for joint pain relief or an adult wanting to improve posture, my approach at Anubhuti Yog is therapeutic.
How We Tailor Your Practice
At my studios in Vivek Vihar and Indirapuram, we move away from high-pressure fitness trends. Instead, we focus on:
- Joint Health & Mobility: We incorporate techniques to help with osteoarthritis, cervical issues, and lower back pain. You will find us using props like yoga wheels and high-density blocks to provide support.
- Assisted Stretching: In personal sessions, I often use assisted stretching, which is effective for those with limited mobility or those recovering from injuries.
- Breathwork & Mind-Body Connection: Most discomfort, especially in older adults, is linked to stress and restricted breathing. We dedicate time to pranayama (breathing techniques) to calm the nervous system.
Your Safety First
I cap group batches at 8 to 12 students. This is a deliberate choice so I can provide hands-on corrections and ensure your posture is safe. My studio is air-conditioned with laminate wooden flooring, designed to be comfortable and gentle on the joints. If you prefer the comfort of your own home in Delhi NCR, I offer personalized home visits where we tailor the routine to your medical history, including any X-ray or MRI insights you may have.
