Retreats: Reset & Recharge
Weekend retreats like the yogic detox retreat (shatkarma) give you a chance to unplug from city life. We do deep cleansing practices, eat simple khichdi, and spend time in nature. Not going to lie - these are intense, sometimes challenging, but people leave feeling lighter, with a clean slate mentally and physically.
Workshops: Dig Deeper
At the studio or online, I offer focused sessions like:
- Pranayama breathing workshop to tune your breath and calm your nerves
- Asana labs for alignment, plus Thai-inspired self-massage tricks for tight spots
- Movement workshops mixing yoga with martial arts - expect a bit of falling and flying!
- Sound bath meditation session using Tibetan bowls, especially for those who need a mental reset
- Yoga philosophy exploration if you want more meaning from your practice

Community: More Than Yoga
I believe in sangha (community). First Saturday of every month, we do free events like Yoga Mafia Night or Pictionary. It’s just about hanging out, laughing, and supporting each other - no yoga mat needed.

Most workshops happen at my JP Nagar studio, with retreats at peaceful spots around Bangalore. If you can't make it in person, plenty of sessions run on Zoom too.

Namaste, we’re Medha and Sandeep, founders of Amrutha Bindu Yoga. Our journeys? One from engineering and martial arts, other from deep yoga study. Both landed here, believing yoga is real transformation, not just poses. We see how practice changes lives, spreading good energy. For us, yoga’s about freedom, not perfection.
