About Cultural & Wellness Workshops
What Drives My Workshops
I see yoga as a journey that goes way past just bending and stretching on the mat. For me, true wellness comes from exploring ancient wisdom and mixing it with what helps us heal today. That's why I started these cultural and wellness workshops - to build a community where we all learn, grow, and support each other, no matter where you're at in your practice.
What You Can Join
-
Kalaripayattu
Step into an Indian martial arts workshop and feel your inner warrior wake up. Beginners, kids, adults - everyone's welcome. You’ll leave sweaty, but you'll also feel something shift inside. -
Movement Therapy
Creative movement for kids is all about fun and flexibility. For neurodivergent adults and children, I offer movement therapy in spaces that are pressure-free and sensory-friendly. No dance background needed, just a willingness to try. -
Cycle & Moon Workshops
Women can join sessions to tune into their menstrual cycle and discover how yoga can work with their body's rhythms. Men who want to understand more are also invited. -
Kirtan Nights
We gather for Kirtan chanting circles - simple, soulful evenings where devotional music helps quiet the mind and open the heart. -
Deep Dives
Guest teachers drop in to share wisdom on Ayurveda philosophy classes, meditation, yoga philosophy, and more. If you want to dig deeper, there’s always something new to learn.
Who It's For
Doesn’t matter if you’re a total newbie, a long-time yogi, a restless kid, or someone looking for a pause button. My workshops are about real connection, not chasing perfection. You show up as you are - we grow together.

My Story
Namaste. Back in 2006, I just wanted to get healthier, but yoga pulled me deeper. Under my guru Sh. Sharath Jois, Ashtanga became more than poses - it became my way. I wandered the Himalayas, trekked to Mt. Shivling, learned from Buddhist teachers, even studied Compassion at Stanford. Our shala, Ashtanga Yoga Sadhna, grew from a tiny idea to a real home. We’re not chasing perfection here, just showing up, learning, sharing. Grateful for this community, and for every teacher who’s lit my way.
My Work
Holistic Yoga & Mindfulness Classes - We offer Mysore style Ashtanga, gentle Hatha, Pranayama, daily meditation, kids yoga summer camp, kirtan, and more.
A Real Community, Not Just a Studio - Our shala is a kula - a home, not a gym. We honor each person’s journey, breath, and rhythm.
Yoga for All Bodies and Minds - Women-only yoga classes, fun kids programs, and special neurodivergent yoga workshops make sure everyone feels welcome.
Practice that Goes Deep - We focus on asana, pranayama, meditation, and discipline. Show up, move, breathe, repeat. Growth comes slowly.
Living Yoga Off the Mat - We do pilgrimages, solstice sadhanas, and raise funds for tribal kids. Yoga is more than exercise – it’s a way to live.
