About My Practice & Studio Life

My studio is designed to be a safe, supportive space rather than a gym. We use wooden flooring and props like cork blocks, straps, wheels, and wall ropes to help you find your alignment safely. These tools are not just for beginners, they help everyone explore deeper stretches and build stability regardless of how flexible you feel today.

A Space for Everyone

I believe yoga is a practice of santulan (balance), not just physical performance. My studio in Santacruz West offers a non-competitive environment where we focus on Hatha-Vinyasa flows, breathwork, and self-awareness. Whether you are navigating your first Surya Namaskar or working on advanced inversions, the space is set up to support your unique journey.

Why Props Matter

Many students come to me worried about not being flexible enough. I always tell them that props are not a sign of weakness, they are a way to make the practice accessible to your body right now. Using blocks and wall ropes helps you understand the geometry of a pose, preventing injury and ensuring you get the full benefit of each stretch.

How We Practice

  • In-Studio: Join group batches in Santacruz West with air conditioning, wooden floors, and full-length mirrors for feedback.
  • Online: I keep groups small and mandate camera-on policies so I can provide verbal corrections in real-time.
  • Private Sessions: If you have specific health goals, injury rehab needs, or just prefer a personalized curriculum, we can schedule 1-on-1 sessions at your convenience.
