In-Person Yoga Classes in Andheri and Malad
Step into our Andheri West or Malad West shala. We focus on alignment, breath, and community. Come practice together at your own pace.
Welcome to our yoga shala in Andheri West. This is where our community comes together to practice, learn, and grow. We have batches for all levels, see you on the mat.
I miss our old shala vibes, but I am blessed with the new family and new vibes at our new shala. The place changes, but the energy of the community remains the same.
In our studio, it's less talk, more practice. Here, students are using blocks to work on their balance and focus in Utthita Hasta Padangusthasana. Your health is everything in the end.
A sign of a good practitioner is that they pay attention to the overall practice, from warm-up to cool-down. Here we are in our Andheri studio, focusing on the foundations.
Today was all about alignment. In this video, I am explaining how to use the wall for support in Prasarita Padottanasana to lengthen the spine safely.
Small achievements bring big change. A student practices a drop back in our Andheri West studio. We celebrate every bit of progress, no matter how small.
"Subko sub kuch nahe milta, jo mila he usme khush rahena sikna hey." Here I am assisting a student with a drop back. We work hard and stay happy with our journey.
About this collection
In our studios, we don't just mimic shapes. I personally watch your form, using blocks, straps, and wall ropes to make sure you are aligned properly, rather than just pushing through. Whether you are working on basic foundations in Andheri or deeper inversions in Malad, we focus on safe, steady progress—not how deep you can bend on day one.
The energy of practicing together in a group is special. When you are in the shala, there is a certain discipline that just happens naturally. You see others working hard, you see them using props to make their practice accessible, and suddenly, you feel motivated to just show up. That is what our studio vibe is all about.
We keep our batch sizes small—between 15 to 20 students. This is intentional. I want to be able to walk around the room, offer manual adjustments, and provide spotting for those practicing inversions safely. If you are struggling with a pose, we do not force it. We use the wall for support, or we grab a chair or a belt.
Our studios in Andheri West and Malad West are designed for this kind of work. We have the floor space, the mirrors for alignment, and the props ready for use.
- Abhyasa Batches: If you are new or just need to get back to the basics, this is where we start. We break down the postures, focus on your breathing, and build strength slowly.
- Sadhana Batches: For regular practitioners, we push boundaries with Ashtanga Vinyasa, inversions, and arm balances.
My philosophy is simple: subko sub kuch nahe milta, jo mila he usme khush rahena sikna hey (not everyone gets everything, you have to learn to be happy with what you have). We are not here to compare our practice to the person on the next mat. We are here to get a little better than we were yesterday. If you are looking for a community that values progress over perfection and consistency over speed, come join us on the mat.
Ajinkya Meher
I see yoga as a way to live better, not just move better. My shala is like a family where we leave the ego at the door and just show up for ourselves.
