In the middle of a busy day, let’s take just one minute to be mindful together. I will guide you through a simple breathing exercise to help you feel centered and calm. This is a practice you can come back to anytime you need a moment of peace.

Let's practice Ujjayi breathing, also known as ocean breath. In this video, I explain how to create the sound and feeling of this calming and focusing breath. It takes some practice, but it is a powerful tool for your yoga journey.

The best part of any class is the final relaxation in Savasana. It is a moment of complete surrender, allowing the body and mind to absorb the benefits of the practice. Here is a glimpse of that blissful calm.

About Breathwork & Meditation

Breathwork is not about sitting in silence for hours; it is a practical tool to reset your nervous system. Whether you are struggling to switch off after a long day or need a quick way to manage anxiety, I teach simple, effective techniques like Ujjayi (Ocean Breath) and guided mindfulness that you can practice in just a few minutes at your desk or before bed.

Core Practices

  • Pranayama: We explore various breathing patterns to regulate the nervous system. You will learn the mechanics of Ujjayi (Ocean Breath), which helps quiet the mind, and other techniques to energize or calm your body depending on what you need.
  • Guided Meditation: These sessions are designed to help you detach from the 'noise' of the day. We move through seated meditation, focusing on awareness and breath, to help you develop a consistent practice.
  • Savasana (Deep Relaxation): Often the hardest part of yoga is simply lying still. I guide you through the process of complete surrender, allowing your body to process the practice and fully rest.
