About this collection
Many practitioners feel stuck in a loop of repetitive movement. These workshops break that cycle by shifting focus from merely completing a pose to understanding the mechanical purpose behind it. Whether we use ropes for spinal decompression or explore the anatomy of breath in Pranayama, the goal is to equip you with the knowledge to self-correct and sustain your own practice.
Yoga is often presented as a time-bound class, but my approach treats it as an explorative science. I organize my training into specific modules based on need and intent.
The Workshop Modules
- The Awakening Immersion: My flagship two-day intensive for experienced practitioners. We move away from fixed sequences to uncover patterns and refine individual alignment. It is intellectually and physically demanding.
- Yoga Kurunta (Rope Yoga): Based on the Iyengar tradition, we use wall ropes for traction and spinal decompression. This is for those who need precise support to safely deepen backbends or master inversions.
- Pranayama & Trataka: These modules focus on the subtle science of breath and concentration. We analyze the physiological impact of breath on the nervous system, providing tools for stress management and mental clarity.
- Prasanna Vadanam: This 10-day module targets facial tension, applying the same principles of muscular release and circulation used in asana practice to the face.
The Methodology
Everything happens at my center in Chandra Layout. I limit batch sizes strictly, usually to under 20 people, to ensure I can provide direct, hands-on correction. You will not find large, generic crowds here. I require a baseline of experience for the advanced immersions because these sessions are not about following me; they are about teaching you how to understand your own body. If you are looking to move beyond surface-level exertion and into the mechanics of yogic practice, these workshops are the logical next step.
