This is a look into my immersive workshop on navigating perimenopause and menopause with the wisdom of Yoga and Ayurveda. We create a supportive space to understand our changing bodies, using specific asanas and pranayama to find balance and calm. It’s about empowering you through this natural transition.
Come play and connect in my Acro Yoga workshop. This practice combines yoga, acrobatics, and healing arts to build trust and communication. It's a beginner friendly session where we focus on having fun and supporting each other, even if we wobble.
My "Weekend Reset" workshops are an invitation to slow down and find stillness. These sessions focus on Yin Yoga, a practice of long, passive holds that release deep tension and rejuvenate your body and mind. It's the perfect way to pause and reconnect with yourself.
Sometimes you just have to play. In my workshops, we explore what our bodies can do, including arm balances and inversions like this handstand. It’s a judgment free zone to try something new, build strength, and have fun, even if it means a few wobbly moments.
This is Eka Pada Setu Bandhasana, or one-legged bridge pose. It's a gentle inversion that strengthens the back, opens the chest, and calms the nervous system. This pose is wonderful for improving circulation and can be particularly beneficial for relieving menstrual discomfort.
Finding stillness in the arms of Garudasana, or Eagle Pose. This simple wrap of the arms stretches the shoulders and upper back, but it's also a reminder to slow down, focus, and breathe. This is the essence of connecting mind and body in our practice.
About Featured
My workshops are not generic classes. Whether we are untangling the complexities of perimenopause with Ayurveda or wobbling through an Acro Yoga session in Bengaluru, the focus is always on real-life application. I do not care if you are flexible, I care that you are curious and ready to try something that moves the needle for your body.
Beyond the Weekly Flow
Sometimes a standard hour-long class just doesn't cut it. My workshops are designed as deep-dive sessions where we focus on specific techniques, body needs, or philosophical themes. These are spaces for exploration rather than routine.
What You Can Expect
- Yoga for Specific Phases: My Menopause and Ayurveda workshops offer practical tools to navigate hormonal shifts. We combine asanas, pranayama, and Ayurvedic wisdom to create a supportive environment for this transition.
- Technical Masterclasses: If you want to work on arm balances, handstands, or inversions, my in-person sessions in Bengaluru provide a safe space to practice with manual adjustments and spotting.
- The Playful Side: Acro Yoga isn't just about the pose; it is about connection. Expect to laugh, wobble, and rely on a partner. It is a beginner-friendly way to build trust and core strength.
- Deep Rest: My Yin Yoga and weekend reset workshops are for the days when your nervous system needs a pause. We use long-held passive stretches to release deep tension and quiet the mind.
The Logistics
- Online: I host live sessions via Zoom, typically on Saturday evenings. You get 75 to 90 minutes of instruction, and if you miss it, you have 48-hour access to the recording.
- In-Person: When we meet in Bengaluru, we use boutique spaces like Smriti Nandan. These are intimate, capped at 15 people, so I can ensure everyone gets the attention they need for a safe practice.
- What to Bring: For online sessions, just bring your mat and an open mind. For in-person workshops, I provide the props—blocks, straps, and hydration.
