A glimpse into my yoga practice, from personal milestones to the vibrant community sessions I host in Bangalore.

This is a little piece of my heart. When I left my corporate career in 2019, I felt lost. But then I found yoga, and it felt like coming home. This practice is more than just movement for me; it’s about finding your purpose and joy. I hope to share a piece of that magic with you.

Do you find yourself jumping or kicking up into a headstand? Let's explore a gentler way. Using strength instead of momentum helps you build control and awareness. In my classes, we focus on these foundational techniques to build a safe and strong inversion practice, one step at a time.

This is the energy of our community. I love guiding these outdoor sessions where we can connect with nature and each other. It doesn’t matter if you are a beginner or have been practicing for years; there is a space for you here to move, breathe, and just be.

I truly believe that every body is different, and your practice should feel good for you. Using props like yoga blocks can make poses more accessible and supportive. This video shows how we can modify Trikonasana and Ustrasana, but in my classes, we explore this for many different asanas.

Here is a beautiful transition from a Forearm Stand (Pincha Mayurasana) to a Forearm Wheel. This advanced movement requires a lot of control and back flexibility. I guide my students through the necessary preparations to safely explore deep backbends and inversions like this when they are ready.

Yoga is so much more than physical postures. A big part of it is Prana, or life force energy, which we connect to through our breath. This is a tutorial on full yogic breathing, a technique that helps calm the nervous system and increase oxygen intake. We practice this and other Pranayama techniques in my classes.

I am so excited to invite you to my special workshops in Bangalore. This video gives you a glimpse into our backward bending workshop, where we explore how to open the spine with strength and safety. These pop-up events are a wonderful way to dive deeper into specific aspects of your yoga practice.

About this collection

When I left my corporate desk in 2019, I was not looking for a career change, but a way to breathe again. What you see here is a collection of my own progress, from early struggles to mastering inversions, alongside the energy of the community we have built in Bangalore. This is not about perfectly aligned poses, but about the consistency of showing up when you do not feel like it, and the small, invisible breakthroughs that happen on the mat.

Why My Practice is About More Than Just Asanas

My approach to yoga is rooted in Hatha and Vinyasa traditions, but it evolves based on what you actually need. Whether you are a total beginner who feels stiff or someone looking to refine advanced skills like Sirsasana (headstand) or Urdhva Dhanurasana (wheel pose), the priority remains the same: safety and awareness.

The Go Slow Philosophy

You will not find pressure to perform in my sessions. Instead, we use a step-by-step approach. If you are struggling with backbends, we do not force them; we break down the anatomy, use blocks, and ensure your spine is ready. If you are new to Pranayama, we start with simple breathing techniques to calm your nervous system before moving to the mat.

How We Practice

  • Online Group Classes: A space for consistency. We meet three times a week for live sessions where I offer real-time posture corrections. My camera is always on, and yours should be too.
  • Offline Workshops in Bangalore: Occasional deep dives into themes like inversions, backbends, and core strength at spots like Cafe Reset Rooftop. These are for when you want to feel the energy of a community and get hands-on technique advice.
  • 1-on-1 Sessions: Personalized care for injury recovery, prenatal yoga, or specific goal-oriented training in HSR Layout and Koramangala.

Yoga is the quiet dialogue you have with your own body. If you are ready to start that conversation, I am here to guide you through the basics and help you build a practice that actually lasts.
