Master precise, traditional Kriyas designed to sharpen focus, release tension, and improve respiratory health, taught with a scientific approach.

What unique elements do I bring to the Trataka workshop? I explain how we go beyond the physical cleansing of the eyes to unravel the spiritual dimension of the practice, progressively refining it over 10 days for a deeper experiential journey.

How does Trataka train the mind to reduce distractions? I explain the deep connection between eye movement and thought patterns. By stilling the gaze on a single point, we reverse the process and calm the endless chatter of the mind.

What are the long-term benefits of Trataka, especially for children? In an age of distraction, Trataka helps declutter the mind, making it calmer and more focused. This creates the mental space needed to improve memory and concentration.

A visual invitation to my Trataka workshop. The practice of steady gazing, often on a candle flame, is a powerful way to calm the mind and bring about a state of deep, meditative focus.

What is Trataka? This graphic explains the ancient yogic practice of focused gazing, which involves concentrating on a single point, like a candle flame, to still the mind and sharpen the senses.

About this collection

These workshops are not about perfecting a pose, they are about using specific tools—like Trataka for focus or Jala Neti for respiratory clarity—to manage your internal state. We treat these as Kriyas, or cleansing processes, that require technical precision. This is why we cap our offline batches at 20 people to ensure everyone gets individual correction on the technique, rather than following a generic, follow-along video.

We structure our specialized workshops to address specific systems within the body and mind. It is not enough to simply perform a practice; you must understand the 'why' behind it.

Trataka (Steady Gazing)

Trataka is often misunderstood as merely an eye-cleansing practice. We teach it as a sophisticated tool for mental stillness. In yogic terms, we look at the connection between eye movement and thought patterns. By training the eyes to fixate on a single point, like a candle flame, we reverse the standard mechanism of mental distraction. This technique is particularly effective for those seeking to reduce internal clutter, improve concentration, and cultivate a deeper meditative state.

Jala Neti & Sutra Neti

Respiratory health is foundational to yoga. These cleansing Kriyas are designed to clear nasal passages, which helps with everything from seasonal allergies to sinus congestion. We guide you through the process step-by-step, ensuring the water flow and technique are safe and effective. It is a practical, physical maintenance routine that prepares your system for more advanced Pranayama practice.

Prasanna Vadanam (Face Yoga)

We often unconsciously hold tension in our facial muscles, which reflects deeper, internal stress. Our Face Yoga workshops go beyond the surface. We do not just teach you exercises to 'fix' your face; we work from the inside out, addressing the root causes of facial tension. This helps you release stored stress, improve your mood, and find a natural sense of relaxation that you can carry throughout your day.

Whether you join us for a weekend immersion or a 10-day course, our goal is to provide you with the tools to continue this practice independently. We provide the guidance and the theory, but the result depends on your consistent application.
