For those ready to go deeper than the physical postures, I offer a series of self-paced e-learning courses on the Yoga Upanishads. These courses, available in six languages, provide a structured immersion into ancient texts like the Dhyanabindu and Amritabindu Upanishads, exploring the path to self-realization.
A key part of my work is fostering a community of inquiry through the Yoga Vichara series. Here, we host experts like Dr. Vishwanath M V for free talks on topics like the Yoga Upanishads, creating a space for open discussion and shared learning.
The practice of yoga extends beyond the mat into shared spiritual experiences. I lead dedicated groups on yatras, or pilgrimages, to sacred events like the Kumbh Mela, combining daily practice with profound cultural and spiritual immersion.

About Yogic Studies & Philosophy

Yoga is way more than just stretching or holding postures. I see it as a logical journey - you start by getting your body and mind steady, then use breathwork (pranayama) to build focus (dharana), and only then try meditation (dhyana). This whole thing is about self-inquiry, not just exercise.

How I Mix Old and New

I bring together ancient wisdom from texts like the Patanjali Yoga Sutras with modern science like biomechanics and neuroscience. It’s not just theory - I want you to see how these ideas play out in real life, on your body and in your mind.

What You’ll Get

  • Fundamentals of Yoga Workshop: Whether you’re new or experienced, this covers yoga philosophy, body alignment, and why meditation matters.
  • Deep Dives into Yogic Texts: Want to really get into the Upanishads? Join live online classes or go at your own pace with e-learning modules. Resources come in six languages, so you can chant and learn comfortably.
  • Yoga Vichara Series: Free talks and discussions with experts. Topics range from "Life Lessons from the Upanishads" to "Science of Pranayama."
  • Sanskrit Workshop: If you want to actually understand yogic texts, knowing Sanskrit helps a ton. We run a free 10-day spoken Sanskrit camp (Samskrita Sambhāṣaṇa Shibiram).
  • Chanting Albums: Practice chanting with my audio collections - Patanjali Yoga Sutras explained through rhythm and repetition.

What Matters Most

Having a teacher (guru) really helps, but it’s your regular practice (abhyasa) that does the magic. No shortcuts here - just steady effort, and I’ll guide you through the process.

My Story

Started off as an IIT engineer, but somehow yoga pulled me in. Did my MTech at IIT Hyderabad, dived into Heritage Science, mixed tech with yoga. But honestly, the real engineering? It’s inside. That’s why Yogavijnana exists – it’s not just asanas, it’s exploring the science within. My Prasanna Vadanam (radiant face) workshop came from seeing folks hold tension in their faces. For me, my own practice rules my schedule, not the other way. Even 10 minutes daily can flip your world.

My Work

Classes, Therapy, Teacher Training, and Workshops - Group classes, Yoga Therapy, Teacher Training, Corporate Yoga, and unique sessions like Prasanna Vadanam workshop and Yoga Kurunta ropes class.

Yoga as Explorative Science - We go deep – Awakening yoga series lets us unravel a single practice for hours, not just perform asanas.

Learning with a Teacher Matters - Yoga’s best learned in-person, but online works too if you’re disciplined. Breathwork like Pranayama needs guidance.

For Serious Yoga Students - If you’re after Samadhi, not just a sweat, and have six months experience, our workshops are for you.
