Sometimes, a group class moves too fast for you to really understand a pose. In my one-on-one sessions, we remove that pressure. We use props like chairs, bolsters, and belts—the Iyengar way—to ensure your body is supported while you build the strength you need.
How We Work Together
- Injury Rehabilitation & Pain Relief: If you are dealing with chronic issues like spondylitis, arthritis, or lower back pain, we start with a full lifestyle audit. We build sequences that protect your joints while gently increasing your range of motion.
- Advanced Asana Mastery: If you want to nail a handstand or a deep backbend, we break it down. You might be struggling with a pose because of a weak core or tight shoulders. We use specific drills to build the foundation first, so the final pose becomes a natural result of your practice, not a struggle.
- Beginner Confidence: If you are new to the mat and feel intimidated by group classes, private training helps you learn the basics of breath control and posture safely. You learn how to listen to your body, not just push it.
Sessions are 60 to 75 minutes and are primarily held at my Nagarbhavi studio so we have full access to our equipment. This is your dedicated space to clear your head, correct your posture, and deepen your connection with your practice.
