Yoga is not a one-size-fits-all practice. In these one-on-one sessions, we work exactly where your body is today—whether you are healing an injury, mastering a challenging pose, or just looking for a dedicated space to breathe.

Binds are great for opening the shoulders and improving balance. My student Nivesh is always ready to try new poses and never gives up.

For World Yoga Day, my dedicated student Nivesh completed 108 Surya Namaskars and 108 Aum chants. It's inspiring to witness such commitment in a personal session.

Sharing a beautiful practice with my dear student Mozez, who is always inspiring. Personal sessions allow us to work deeply and celebrate milestones together.

The "yoga wave" is a great way to articulate the spine. Here, I'm guiding my student Hiren through the movement in a one-on-one class.

In our personal sessions, we often create our own sequences on the spot. This flow was designed to work on hip opening and spinal flexibility for my student Hiren.

Partner classes can be incredibly motivating and fun. My student Jamini and I sweat and laugh at the same time while working on strength and balance together.

My students become my closest friends. Here, I'm assisting Hiren in a vinyasa flow. It never feels like work when you're practicing with people you connect with.

Every class is different. In this session, we focused on partner stretches to deepen the release in the hamstrings and lower back.

The hips are the seat of our emotions. We worked on a series of hip openers to help my student Hiren release stored tension and tightness.

This sitting yoga sequence is designed for opening the hips, glutes, hamstrings, and lower back. It's a great example of a targeted flow we can do in a personal class.

About Personal Training: Your Practice, Your Pace

My personal sessions are about body reading first. Because of my own experience with anterolisthesis and herniated discs, I do not believe in pushing through pain. We will use props, manual stretches, and targeted sequences to help your spine find relief, not just to make you sweat. This is about building a practice that respects your current limitations while slowly expanding your range of motion.

When we train one-on-one, the focus is entirely on you. There are no distractions and no comparisons. Whether you want to master inversions, build core strength to support a stiff back, or simply find the discipline to practice regularly, we create the path together.

I bring the Iyengar influence into our sessions—using wall ropes, backless chairs, and belts to ensure you get the perfect alignment, safely. I have worked with everyone from total beginners to people recovering from long-term injuries. If your body is craving movement but feels stuck, we will use a mix of restorative Yin yoga to release stored tension and dynamic flows to build heat.

We can meet at your home, a studio in Bandra or Khar, or online if you are traveling. You get my full attention—hands-on adjustments, real-time verbal corrections, and a practice that evolves as you do. Chalo, utho! Let’s get you moving in a way that feels right.

I am Vandana. I do not just teach poses; I teach how to live in your body, pain-free. My own back injury taught me the value of patience, and that is exactly how I guide my students—slow, steady, and safe. Let us work together.
