Gentle Prenatal Yoga Classes for Expecting Mothers
Pregnancy is a beautiful phase, but it often comes with uncertainty. I guide you through gentle asanas, breathwork, and affirmations to help you prepare your body and mind for a calm, confident birth experience.
This is a glimpse into one of my online prenatal yoga classes. I help expecting mothers connect with their bodies and build strength and trust for a smooth delivery. It's a beautiful journey, and I am honored to guide these strong women from all over the world.
About Prenatal Yoga
Whether you are in your first or third trimester, my sessions are strictly modified to your changing needs. We focus on pelvic floor strength, hip openers, and labor-ready breathing techniques, always prioritizing safety with wall support and props to ensure you never feel off-balance during your practice.
A Holistic Preparation for Birth
Pregnancy is not the time to push your physical limits, but it is the perfect time to build resilience. My prenatal classes at Yoga Bimba go beyond simple stretching. We incorporate Garbh Sanskar, using rhythmic chanting and positive affirmations to create a peaceful environment for you and your baby.
Trimester-Specific Care
- First Trimester: We focus on grounding, gentle movement, and managing early fatigue with restorative poses.
- Second Trimester: The core work begins here. We emphasize hip mobility and back strengthening to support your growing belly.
- Third Trimester: Our focus shifts to breathing techniques, fall-prevention safety, and preparing your pelvic floor for the labor process.
Why My Hybrid Approach Works
While I love the energy of my Nagarbhavi studio, for prenatal students, I strongly recommend my Live Interactive Online sessions. This eliminates the physical stress of traveling through Bengaluru traffic, allowing you to practice in the safety and comfort of your own home. You get the same hands-on guidance via verbal cues, ensuring every alignment is safe for your body.
We keep our batches small to ensure I can watch each mother’s movement, correcting postures to prevent strain. Whether you are looking for relief from back pain or simply want to feel more connected to your body during this journey, we invite you to show up on the mat. Remember, some days, just breathing and being present is the practice.
