About Yoga for All: Kids, Seniors & Adults
At my Nagarbhavi studio, we use traditional terracotta flooring and specific props—blocks and straps—to ensure safety and correct alignment for every body type. Whether you are a senior needing support or a beginner finding your balance, my hands-on corrections ensure you practice safely, while my online students receive clear verbal cues to achieve the same precision from home.
Yoga is often misunderstood as a practice only for the young and fit, but at Yoga Bimba, we believe it is a companion for every stage of life. From children improving their posture and focus to seniors working on mobility and pain relief, my sessions are designed to meet you exactly where you are.
Our Approach to All-Level Yoga
- Traditional Alignment: We follow Hatha yoga with an Iyengar-style focus. This means we use props like wooden blocks and cotton straps to modify poses. If a pose feels impossible, we change the angle, not the goal.
- Safety First: For seniors or those managing chronic pain, safety is non-negotiable. We prioritize fall prevention and gentle movement, allowing the body to open up over time rather than forcing it.
- Kids & Teens: Our sessions for younger students focus on screen-time posture correction, height growth via Tadasana, and developing concentration through playful storytelling and animal poses.
- Adults & Working Professionals: Whether you are tackling work stress or looking for a fitness routine, we focus on balancing strength with breathwork.
