Why I Host These Gatherings
Yoga Bimba isn’t just about the asana. For me, yoga means practice (Abyasa), health (Arogya), and happiness (Ananda). That’s what I try to bring to every workshop and event - a space where we learn, laugh, and just be ourselves.
What You Can Expect
- Deep Dive Workshops: Sometimes we get out of the studio for a proper Ayurveda yoga retreat - think sunrise yoga, learning about your Tri-Dosha (Vata, Pitta, Kapha), and sharing a healthy breakfast in a tucked-away villa. Always a mix of knowledge, food, and fun.
- Community Yoga Celebrations: We’ve grown from just three to a whole tribe, and I genuinely love celebrating together - like our anniversary bash with performances and progress sharing, or coming together for 108 Surya Namaskaras on RathaSaptami.
- Outings & Festive Vibes: We’ve hiked up a local betta (hill) for a magical sunrise yoga session, followed by a classic bettadmelebreakfast (hilltop breakfast). Sometimes, it’s just good to step out and connect.
- Expert Wellness Talks: I often invite doctors and wellness pros for practical, no-nonsense advice on things like thyroid, diabetes, and handling stress. Stuff you can actually use.

My Story
Namaskara! We’re Yoga Bimba, started by me, Nayana, in a tiny shala with just three folks back in 2013. Now, it’s a wild mix - sunrise treks, festival celebrations, and even marathons. My guru Sri Bharath Shetty’s words still guide us. Some students turned teachers here, so it’s become a real tribe. Our mantra is simple: Abyasa, Arogya, Ananda. You show up, you practice, you find your health and bliss. That’s how we roll.
My Work
Yoga Classes & Workshops - We teach Hatha Yoga, with special focus on pre-natal yoga Bengaluru, post-natal, and yoga for PCOS support.
For All Ages & Levels - Kids jumping, folks over 50 starting fresh, everyone’s welcome. Online or in-person, join from anywhere.
Community & Celebration - Festival yoga classes, 108 Suryanamaskars, cheering for RCB - it’s more than just postures, it’s a vibe.
