Yoga is not just about the pose, it's about the path. Here is a look at my personal practice, where I explore the alignment and breath work that I bring to our studio every day.

For a yoga teacher, any beautiful destination becomes a studio. Here I am finding a moment to practice a headstand and Bakasana (Crow Pose) while traveling. Yoga is everywhere.

Yoga gives you the strength to find your balance even in the toughest terrains, like the snow-covered mountains of Kashmir. Here I am in Garudasana (Eagle Pose), feeling grounded and centered.

Some days, it's not about advanced postures. It's about showing up and strengthening your foundation. Here, I am moving through a simple flow including Virabhadrasana II (Warrior II), just being present on the mat.

Finding a moment of peace and practice in the lap of nature. Performing Hanumanasana (splits) and other poses by a waterfall is a reminder of the beautiful connection between yoga and the natural world.

"Steadfast in Yoga, giving up all attachment, unmindful of success or failure, do your work. Such equanimity of mind is called Yoga." A moment of practice and reflection on this teaching from the Bhagavad Gita.

"We can only do small things with great love." A simple moment of joy and balance in Virabhadrasana III (Warrior III) at the beach, embracing the love for yoga.

Be you, be strong. A demonstration of Svarga Dvijasana (Bird of Paradise Pose), a challenging posture that requires openness in the hips and shoulders, as well as balance and strength.

A quick flow into Mayurasana (Peacock Pose). This arm balance requires significant core and wrist strength. My daily practice helps me maintain the ability to demonstrate such asanas for my students.

Finding my balance with a Shirsasana (Headstand) at the edge of a pool. It's a playful challenge that requires immense focus and control. Don't fall, don't fall.

Just having some fun with a hip mobility challenge. Yoga doesn't always have to be serious. It's also about exploring your body's capabilities in a lighthearted way.

About The Yogi's Path: My Personal Practice

My own mat is my laboratory. Before I teach a complex alignment, I spend hours testing the props, the breath, and the effort myself—whether I am at my Nagarbhavi studio or practicing out in nature. It keeps me honest, humble, and deeply connected to the same physical and mental challenges you face in your own daily practice.
