Sunday Community Yoga Classes & Workshops
Every Sunday morning, we gather as a community to explore different facets of traditional Sivananda yoga. Whether you are new to the practice or looking for inspiration, these themed sessions are an open invitation to breathe, stretch, and reconnect.

About Sunday Community Classes & Workshops
These Sunday sessions are purposefully priced at a suggested donation of INR 108 to make the practice accessible to everyone. Unlike our standard 90-minute open classes, these themes rotate weekly—ranging from abdominal strength and anti-ageing techniques to headstand foundations—so you can drop in for a topic that interests you without committing to a full course.
Our Sunday gatherings are about more than just physical asana; they are about fostering a supportive community. In the tradition of our Gurus, Swami Sivananda and Swami Vishnudevananda, we believe that practicing together creates a powerful energy that elevates individual efforts. Each Sunday, we dedicate the time to a specific theme. One week, we might break down the mechanics of Sirsasana (headstand) to ensure you are practicing safely; another, we might explore specific pranayama (breathing) techniques to boost your daily energy levels or practice gentle movements designed for anti-ageing and vitality.
We keep these sessions open to all levels, from complete beginners who have never stepped on a mat to long-time practitioners looking to refine their form. Because the themes change weekly, you have the flexibility to attend whenever your schedule allows or when a particular topic resonates with your current needs. It is the perfect low-pressure environment to experience our teaching style at our South Delhi centre in Kailash Colony. We provide basic props, though we recommend bringing a towel. Come prepared to chant, breathe, and learn in a space that prioritizes your peace of mind as much as your physical alignment.
