About Yoga Teacher Training
Why I Teach Yoga Teachers
Yoga is my way of slowing down and finding some peace in the chaos. I don’t believe in chasing perfect poses - I care more about how you feel on the mat and how you treat yourself. My teacher training is all about helping you look inward and grow, not just getting a certificate.
Who This Training Is For
- If you want to become a certified yoga teacher and actually teach, this is for you.
- If you’re a serious student wanting to dig deeper into traditional yoga philosophy and practice, you’ll fit right in.
- If you’re just looking for personal growth or a new way to see the world, you’ll find that here too.
What We Cover
We go way beyond asanas. You’ll learn:
- How to build each pose safely, with little reminders like “eradu ottige ettabedi ondondhe” (don’t lift both together, one by one).
- Breathwork and meditation techniques, including Nadi Shodhana and Brahmari.
- How to guide deep relaxation and meditation sessions.
- The basics of anatomy and the roots of yoga, so you know why we do what we do.
Teaching Practice & Community
You’ll get real practice teaching, not just theory. We start each batch with a puja, and end with a yogic party - mantras, music, meditation. It’s a close-knit group, not just a class.
The Essentials
We’re Yoga Alliance certified, so you can do your 200, 300, or 500 hour training here. Weekend batches run 7 AM to 2 PM, so it’s doable even if you’re busy.

My Story
Namaste, we’re Pragalbha Studios. Yoga for us? Not about nailing that Insta-worthy pose. It’s about showing up, breathing, and letting things slow down. ‘Pragalbha’ means waking up your senses and mind - that’s what we want for everyone here. People have walked in after surgeries, some turned from students to teachers, and many found a new way to see yoga. We’re not just a studio, we’re a bunch of people growing together - on and off the mat.
