Why I Teach Yoga
Yoga, for me, is about slowing down and tuning in. I don’t chase perfect poses or push for flexibility. Instead, I help you listen to your body and mind, making space for kindness and patience on the mat.
How My Classes Work
- I teach traditional yoga, but every class is shaped by who’s in the room. Whether you’re new or experienced, I pay attention to your practice, guiding you with small, clear instructions. Sometimes you’ll hear me say, “Eradu ottige ettabedi ondondhe” (don’t lift both together, one by one) - it’s all about moving safely.
- Props like blocks, chairs, and straps are part of the class. They’re not shortcuts, just ways to help you find your own version of each pose.
- Every session blends asanas, pranayama, and meditation for a holistic yoga experience.

My Story
Namaste, we’re Pragalbha Studios. Yoga for us? Not about nailing that Insta-worthy pose. It’s about showing up, breathing, and letting things slow down. ‘Pragalbha’ means waking up your senses and mind - that’s what we want for everyone here. People have walked in after surgeries, some turned from students to teachers, and many found a new way to see yoga. We’re not just a studio, we’re a bunch of people growing together - on and off the mat.
