About 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training (RYT 200)
This isn’t just a checklist course. At Nirakula Yoga, you step into a journey where yoga stops being a hobby and turns into your sadhana. We don’t do yoga just for fancy Insta reels - we go into the real work, with all the sweat, confusion, and “a-ha” moments that come with it.
What’s in the Training?
- Our curriculum is like an Arthashastra for yogis - a roadmap for life, not just poses.
- Dive into Hatha Yoga asanas with a big focus on alignment, safety, and props. You’ll probably get used to ropes and chairs more than you expect!
- We go deep into pranayama and kriyas (think Jalaneti, Kapalabhati), not just as theory, but by actually doing them.
- Yoga philosophy isn’t a side note - we dig into old texts, Yama-Niyama, and blend it with a practical study of anatomy, so you know what’s actually happening in your body.
- Meditation and focus practices are woven throughout. If you’re stressed, you’ll see why these matter.
Becoming a Teacher
- This is not a one-way lecture. Our peer-to-peer teaching method means you’ll teach, get feedback, and learn by actually guiding others.
- Expect hands-on yoga teaching practice and real adjustments, not just talking.
Who Fits Here?
- If you’re curious, ready to work hard, and want a foundation based on depth, not just social media yoga, you’ll fit right in.
- No need to be a pro. Just come with an open mind.
How We Run It
- Two main options: intensive weekday batch (6-7 weeks) or a slow-burn weekend batch.
- Mostly at our Koramangala shala, sometimes hybrid/online if you need.
You’ll walk away with an RYT 200 Yoga Alliance certification and, honestly, a very different way of seeing yourself and yoga.

My Story
You want my story? It starts with questions, like in the Panchatantra. Can a crow and mouse be friends? We talk about such things in class - not just as stories, but real lessons. For me, yoga is more than bending and stretching. Students come for asanas, but stay for the deeper journey. My TTC isn’t selfie yoga, it’s about discipline, theory, and finding real friendship with yourself. Some who came as students now teach. That’s the joy, watching yoga friendship grow, slowly, like a shadow.
My Work
Yoga Classes & Workshops - We offer Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced Asana Intensives, Nada Yoga classes, and Shamanic Sound Healing in Koramangala and online.
Yoga Philosophy & Wisdom - We teach from ancient texts, mantras, and history, blending them with modern life for a holistic experience.
Transformative Teacher Training - Our 200-hour TTC dives deep into asanas, pranayama, and philosophy. It's for those who want to teach, not just instruct.
Supportive Environment - Classes focus on alignment and technique, using props. Whether it’s Hatha Vinyasa or meditation, we help you find balance.
