About Yoga Teacher Training Courses (TTC)
Why I Teach
For me, yoga is about starting where you are. Athah Yoga Anushasanam – yoga begins now. I’ve been on this path for over 30 years, and I still think the real work is just to keep showing up and practicing. No need to chase a perfect pose. I’m here to guide you as you find your own balance, mixing strength and softness, in a safe space.
What My Teacher Training Offers
My courses are much more than learning asanas – it's a personal journey. I combine tradition (lots of Hatha, a bit of Iyengar alignment, some Ashtanga fire) with a space where you can figure out your own way. Courses are Yoga Alliance certified, so you get a certificate that actually means something.
- Foundation trainings: RYT 200, 300, and 500-hour in Hatha, Ashtanga, Iyengar-style, and multi-style yoga TTC (all in Mysore).
- Specialized: Yin yoga, aerial yoga (with hammocks!), prenatal & postnatal (online and in-person), and deep pranayama practice.
- Therapeutic yoga teacher certification – for those who want to use yoga as a healing tool, plus chair and wheel yoga for accessibility.
How We Learn
Not just about poses. We get into philosophy (Yoga Sutras and all), anatomy, Ayurveda, breathwork, meditation, and nutrition. Props are a big part of how I teach – chairs, blocks, straps, walls – so everyone can find their own way into the shapes.
Mysore Experience (Or Online)
Most courses are residential in Mysore, food and stay included. If you can't make it here, some trainings (like online prenatal yoga teacher training) are available remotely. My goal is to help you become a confident teacher, whether you want to lead classes or just deepen your own practice.

My Story
Namaste, I’m B Srinatha. Thirty years on the mat, and still loving every bit. My beard’s gone grey, folks call me ‘Sir’—but don’t let that fool you. My shala in Mysore is a riot of dancers, artists, wild souls from everywhere. We laugh, we fall, we get up. Yoga for me? Not just asanas. It’s daily dincharya, singing bowls, Mudgar swings, and watching my students shine. Seeing them become teachers, that’s my real joy.
