About Yoga Teacher Training
What This Training Is Really About
I see Yoga Teacher Training as a journey - not just a certificate course. It's about turning inward, finding your own spark, and learning to guide others from that place. More than memorizing poses, it's about real growth, discovering Atma Jnana (self-knowledge), and building a strong personal practice.
How We Learn Here
I’m not here to push you into perfect Asanas or be the strict Guru. My role is to help you listen to your own body and build your Sadhana (daily practice). We keep things practical, focusing on experience over info overload. Our 200-hour Hatha Yoga teacher training (Yoga Alliance certified teacher training) is held in Whitefield, Bangalore - non-residential, 7-8 weeks, weekdays 8:30 AM to 1 PM.
What We Dive Into
- Asana: Not just shapes - you’ll learn safe alignment, ways to adjust, and why poses matter for different bodies.
- Pranayama training program: Breathing deep, connecting to
Prana(energy) with classic techniques. - Yoga philosophy course: We’ll actually sit and chat about ancient texts - not just skim them.
- Shatkarma: Real yogic cleansing, body and mind.
- Teaching Methodology: Get hands-on leading classes, finding your own style, building confidence.
The Vibe Here
Our groups are small, with people from all walks joining in. We start with lamp lighting, end with a celebration. It’s chill, supportive - no ego, just learning and growing together.
Who Comes
Some join just for personal practice, not to teach. Some dream of sharing yoga. If you feel the pull, you’ll fit right in.
What’s Next
Finish the 200 hours and want to go deeper? I offer advanced yoga teacher training too, to help you deepen your practice and step up as a teacher.

My Story
Hey, we’re Pratyaksha Yoga. Yashwanth started off teaching on the mat, hours every day, but soon realized yoga wasn’t just about guiding others—it was changing him too. That spark led us here: helping folks not just learn, but teach, so the light spreads. We don’t hand out answers. We help you see your own path, just like our Gurus did for us. That’s what matters—finding your own light.
My Work
What we offer - Hatha Yoga Teacher Training (Level 1 & 2), Pranayama Sadhana, workshops, and online yoga classes.
Yoga beyond poses - We focus on conscious yoga practice, not just asanas. It's about creativity and inner awareness.
Start when you’re ready - We guide with questions before any course. Growth needs the right timing, not rushing.
Guidance over perfection - Corrections aren’t about perfect poses—they’re about helping your body learn alignment and breath.
Community matters - We grow together, not alone. Every step counts, and we’re here for the journey.
