I invite you to a practice that moves beyond physical poses to help you find stillness. Whether you are a beginner or a regular practitioner, join me in JP Nagar to explore breathwork, meditation, and mindful movement.

Yoga is more than just physical postures; it is a way to silence the mind. Through asana, pranayama, and meditation, we practice returning to what is essential: not performance, but presence.

Coming soon to our shala: Mudgar Sadhna. This ancient Indian practice of using weighted clubs is a powerful way to build meditative strength and connect with the primal force of Shakti through circular, flowing movements.

Pranayama, or breath control, is considered by many teachers to be the highest form of yoga. It is the bridge between the physical and the mental, cultivating a stable and focused mind needed for spiritual growth.

Meditation is a cornerstone of the practice at our shala. We offer daily sessions to help you pause, find balance, and reconnect with the quiet stillness that exists within you, no matter the chaos outside.

A glimpse of the diverse practices offered at our shala. From individual Mysore style instruction to kids yoga and slow breathing groups, there is a path for every practitioner to build stamina and resilience.

A look at our Saturday slow group practice, followed by meditative chanting. These sessions are designed to be restorative and grounding, a perfect way to close the week and find inner peace.

Once a month, we take our practice outdoors to connect with nature. Practicing yoga under the open sky, with the earth beneath our feet, is a powerful reminder that we are part of something vast and beautiful.

I was not planning to practice in a Kurta Pajama, but it happened. It reminded me that yoga transcends what we wear. It is about the intention we bring to the mat and the union of mind, body, and spirit.

About The Practice of Yoga, Pranayama & Meditation

In my studio, we work with Mysore style Ashtanga, which allows me to guide you individually at your own pace. This means we focus on your specific body mechanics and breath rhythm before we move into deeper pranayama or meditation practices, ensuring that your practice is built on a solid, safe foundation.

Yoga is a practice of showing up. My sessions at the JP Nagar shala are designed for those who want to move past exercise and into a more disciplined, mindful way of living.

My approach is built on three pillars:

  • Asana: We focus on steady, sustainable physical practice. In our Mysore style classes, you learn to listen to your body, avoiding the rush or performance-based mindset found in standard gym classes.
  • Pranayama: Breath is the bridge between the physical and the mental. I teach specific techniques to control and lengthen the breath, which helps in calming the nervous system and preparing the mind for silence.
  • Meditation: This is the natural result of a steady practice. I offer daily sessions to help you sit with yourself, find clarity, and develop the focus needed to handle daily stressors.

I intentionally keep my batch sizes small—around 10 to 15 participants—so that I can provide actual guidance. You will not be lost in a crowd here. Whether you are coming to find relief from back pain, trying to manage anxiety, or simply looking for a community that values presence over performance, you will find a place here.

I began my journey in 2006 to improve my own health, but yoga quickly became my way of life. My shala is a quiet, shared home where we practice asana, pranayama, and meditation to find real stillness amidst the noise of the city.
