Immersive Yoga Retreats: Heal & Realign in Nature
Join me in Rishikesh to pause the daily grind, reconnect with your breath, and find stillness amidst the Himalayas. My retreats are a sanctuary for deep healing and realignment through daily asana, pranayama, and community rituals. 🙏🏻
My vision for retreats is to create a sanctuary where you can experience the transformative power of yoga in nature. Aligning our breath with the flow of the river and the songs of birds helps us heal and rejuvenate the spirit.
Looking back at my first retreat fills my heart with joy. It was magical how everything fell into place, creating precious moments of solitude and community that I will always cherish.
Prana is the vital life force. In our retreats, we practice asana and pranayama in beautiful natural settings, like this treehouse deck in Rishikesh, to ensure the smooth movement of prana throughout our entire system.
Correct alignment is crucial for the healthy flow of prana and injury prevention. In our retreat asana sessions, we focus on understanding the alignment of each posture, like Surya Namaskar, while honoring each person's unique body.
In our morning retreat sessions, we move with intention. Here, a student embodies strength and focus in Bhujangasana (Cobra Pose) in our beautiful bamboo shala, surrounded by the sounds of nature.
I offer hands-on adjustments during retreats to help students safely deepen their practice. Here, I am assisting a student in Parivrtta Janu Sirsasana, ensuring she gets the maximum benefit from the side-body stretch.
Students hold Virabhadrasana II (Warrior II) during a retreat session. This powerful pose builds strength and stamina, reflecting the resilience we cultivate when we immerse ourselves in practice and nature.
Why do we practice asana? Because it is the easiest way to start working with the mind. Our daily movement practices on retreats open up the body, preparing it for subtler practices like meditation and pranayama.
An energizing morning practice to kickstart Day 2 of our retreat. We start with the first rays of the sun, moving through sequences that awaken the body and prepare us for a day of deep inner work.
The final session of our 'Realign' retreat focused on expanding the heart center. We used backbends and pranayama to enhance the flow of prana, leaving everyone feeling open, lighter, and more connected.
About Immersive Retreats: Heal & Realign in Nature
My retreats are built on a rhythm of daily asana, pranayama, and traditional kriyas like Jal Neti, all performed in a bamboo shala overlooking the Ganga. Unlike generic getaways, we focus on specific sequences designed to open the body for meditation, with hands-on adjustments to ensure your alignment is safe and effective. You will leave not just rested, but with a toolkit of cleansing practices to sustain your peace back home.
Why Join a Retreat?
Taking a break from the relentless pace of life in cities like Gurgaon is not just a luxury; it is a necessity for your nervous system. My retreats in Rishikesh are designed as a sanctuary to help you move from doing to being. We start early, aligning our practice with the first rays of the sun, utilizing the serene energy of the Himalayas and the flow of the river to anchor our focus.
The Practice
We go beyond standard flows. You will practice:
- Shatkriyas: Daily cleansing techniques like Dhauti and Neti to purify your digestive and nasal tracts—essential for those of us living in high-pollution areas.
- Pranayama: Guided breathwork to control the prana (life force) and calm the mind, practiced on elevated decks amidst the trees.
- Alignment-Focused Asana: We use blocks, straps, and tactile corrections to ensure your postures are safe, helping you build strength without strain.
- Community Sangha: We share meals, chants, and reflections, building a supportive tribe that continues to offer connection long after the retreat ends.
Is This for You?
Whether you are a beginner looking for a gentle start or a regular practitioner seeking to deepen your knowledge of yoga philosophy, this space is open. I keep these batches intimate to ensure I can support each individual’s anatomy and energy levels. If you are ready to stop being a victim of circumstance and find a basic practice of peace, I invite you to join our next gathering. Har Har Mahadev.

I didn't find yoga; it found me when I was at my lowest, chasing a life that didn't fit. My retreats are my way of paying that healing forward, creating the kind of space I desperately needed back then. I’m Aishwarya, and I’m here to hold that space for you to finally breathe. 🤍
