About

I never thought I'd find peace in stillness. My background was strength training, always moving, mind racing. Yoga didn't come easy - stillness felt strange, honestly. But with time, I learnt yoga isn't just about bending and stretching. It's a whole mind-body reset, a celebration of breath, movement, and those quiet moments that bring clarity.

How I Teach

My approach comes straight from the roots, thanks to my teacher, Srivatsa Ramaswami. But I keep it real, suiting it to our city life chaos. We focus on more than just asanas - the real shift is in your mind and nervous system. I call it your 'spirit lab'.

What Sessions Look Like

  • Expect a mix of dynamic Vinyasa Krama (breath + movement in sync) and deep Yin Yoga for those stubborn, stuck bits in the body.
  • Every session closes with breathwork - not just a side thing, but a must for calming the head and prepping for meditation.
  • We do more than meditate. Sometimes it's mantra, sometimes Trataka (steady gazing), sometimes just guided rest for proper mental clarity.

Flexible and Real

No one needs to be a perfect yogi. Whether you’re a total newbie or been at it for years, I adapt the practice for you. Old habits go, new ones come - all at your pace.

Beyond the Mat

I blend in a bit of Ayurvedic lifestyle coaching and seasonal self-care routines, so what you do in practice actually helps you in daily life. For women, I put extra focus on using yoga for women's hormonal balance, especially during big life changes like menopause.

This is yoga that fits real life, not the other way around.

My Story

You know, Om YogaShala isn’t just about yoga mats and fancy poses. It started with faith, prayer, and a bit of restlessness. I was that person who couldn’t sit still, always jumping at the gym. Yoga didn't come easy, but it taught me quietude in movement. My home’s a patchwork of travel memories, a little modern Indian chaos (Vogue even noticed). Broke my toe once – yeah, movement’s precious. Every stumble, every breath, it’s all a teacher.
