Holistic Yoga, Meditation & Spiritual Practice
My yoga practice blends traditional wisdom with modern life, creating space for breath, movement, and genuine connection. Whether you are here for physical healing, structural alignment, or inner stillness, you are welcome to explore my offerings.
My practice is a form of homecoming, a way to connect with myself and the world around me. Here, in a moment of stillness amidst nature, I find the balance and strength that I aim to share with you in every class. This is the essence of yoga: finding your power, peace, and presence, one breath at a time.
In my classes, I provide hands-on adjustments to help you safely explore the alignment of each asana. This gentle guidance ensures you can deepen your posture, like this Adho Mukha Svanasana (Downward-Facing Dog), while protecting your body and encouraging the free flow of prana. Your safety and progress are my priorities.
The power of sangha, our spiritual community, is at the heart of my retreats. Sharing moments of joy, laughter, and vulnerability together creates a bond that supports our individual journeys. Here, we are sharing stories and energy in the serene Himalayan foothills, a memory I hold dear.
Bhakti yoga is the path of love and devotion. For me, it is not something to be learned, but a feeling that unfolds from within. In moments of kirtan and chanting, the heart opens, and we connect to a divine grace that is both healing and transformative.
Asana practice is a celebration of the body's intelligence and strength. In poses like Purvottanasana, or upward plank, we build physical power while creating an open heart. This balance of effort and surrender is a lesson we take from the mat into our daily lives.
My practice is a moving meditation, a journey from darkness to light, just as the ancient mantra "Tamaso Ma Jyotirgamaya" teaches. This sequence shows how movement and breath can guide us from a place of quiet introspection to an expansive, heart-opening expression, embodying the spiritual path of yoga.
Japa, the repetition of a mantra, is a powerful tool to focus the mind and connect with a higher vibrational energy. In my retreats and special sangha sessions, we explore chanting as a path to a meditative state, finding stillness and inner peace together as a community.
Welcome. I am Aishwarya, a student and teacher of yoga. I share this practice from a place of authenticity, rooted in the traditions I grew up with and my own journey of healing. My goal is to help you connect with your own inner wisdom and find balance in your body, mind, and spirit.
About Featured
In my sessions, we move beyond just asanas to explore breathwork, philosophy, and mindful alignment. Whether you are joining me in the studio in DLF Phase 5, Gurgaon or online, the focus is always on your individual journey, with small class sizes or 1-on-1 sessions designed to help you build a sustainable practice that serves your specific health and energy goals.
My Holistic Approach
Yoga is not a quick fix. It is a journey of self-exploration that helps you find clarity and balance. In my classes, we combine traditional Hatha and Ashtanga Vinyasa elements with breathwork (pranayama) and meditation to quiet the mind. We also integrate yoga philosophy, allowing ancient teachings to offer guidance for the challenges of our modern lives.
Classes & Personalization
- Studio Classes (Gurgaon): Located in DLF Phase 5, these 75-minute sessions are limited to 12 students. This restriction allows for detailed technique corrections, tactile physical adjustments, and hands-on alignment guidance to ensure you are practicing safely and effectively.
- Live Virtual Yoga: These 60-minute interactive Zoom sessions feature guided flows and verbal posture correction. We focus on mobility and static holds, making it a convenient option to maintain your practice from home.
- Private & Therapeutic Yoga: If you have specific health goals, such as prenatal care, injury recovery, or managing conditions like hypothyroidism, I offer one-on-one sessions. These are highly personalized based on your medical history and anatomy, using props like chairs and bolsters to support your needs.
The Sangha Community
Practicing alone is hard. Practicing together hits different. Our sangha, or yoga family, is a space for support and connection. We host special sessions focused on breathwork and chanting, and I also lead immersive retreats in places like Rishikesh. These retreats are designed to help you slow down, reconnect with nature, and experience the transformative power of a dedicated spiritual community.
Aishwarya Sahu
I’m Aishwarya. After leaving my corporate life, I found my path in teaching yoga as a way to heal and connect. I don't focus on perfect poses. I focus on creating a safe, honest space where we can breathe, chant, and find stillness together.
