Sound Healing and Meditation Sessions in Bengaluru
A space to pause, breathe, and let your nervous system exhale. My sound healing sessions use ancient vibrations to quiet the mind and restore your body’s natural rhythm.
In a quiet moment during an outdoor session, I use a traditional Tibetan singing bowl to create focused vibrations. Placing the bowl near the client's hand allows the healing frequencies to travel directly through the body, promoting deep cellular relaxation and energy alignment.
Here is a glimpse into one of my group sound bath meditations. Participants rest comfortably on their mats as I guide them into a state of stillness, surrounded by the gentle resonance of singing bowls and the soft glow of ambient light.
In this video, I explain how sound healing works on a deeper level. It's not just about hearing; it's about feeling the pure frequencies that quiet the mind, synchronize brain waves, and guide you into a meditative state where healing can begin.
During a wellness festival, I use a large rainstick to simulate the soothing sound of falling rain. This ancient instrument is wonderful for calming the nervous system and washing away stress as participants lie back and absorb the natural soundscape.
I was honored to bring a moment of peace to the workplace at ABB. This image shows a corporate wellness session where employees are experiencing a guided sound bath, a simple yet powerful way to reset during a busy workday.
A close up view of a client experiencing deep rest during a sound bath. A large crystal singing bowl is placed nearby, its pure frequency helping to clear the mind and balance the body's energy, leading to a state of profound calm.
This moment from a women's retreat captures the essence of my invitation to you. You don't need to feel ready or be in a perfect place to begin your healing journey. You just need to arrive as you are.
About this collection
You do not need prior experience or special gear to join a sound bath. Whether you are coming to my Zen Yoga Shala studio in Thanisandra or booking a private session at your home, I provide the mats, props, and instruments. All you need is the willingness to lie down, close your eyes, and let the resonant frequencies of the singing bowls and gongs guide your body into deep rest.
Finding Stillness in the City
Modern life is loud. Between the traffic in Bengaluru and the constant digital noise, your nervous system rarely gets a chance to fully switch off. My work is about creating a deliberate, safe container where that noise stops.
What Happens During a Session
When we meet, we start by acknowledging where you are right now. No one is expected to be flexible, 'zen', or in a good mood. We simply settle into the space. I use a combination of crystal singing bowls, Tibetan metal bowls, rainsticks, and gongs. These aren't played as background music; they are tools. The pure frequencies and vibrations help synchronize brain waves, which can physically soften muscle tension and signal your body to move from 'fight or flight' mode into 'rest and digest'.
Why Sound Healing Works
It is often difficult to meditate on your own when your mind is racing. Sound provides an external focal point. By immersing yourself in these textures of sound, you give your brain permission to stop trying to 'fix' things.
Clients often tell me they feel lighter after a session, as if a physical weight has been lifted from their shoulders. It is a powerful way to:
- Reduce anxiety and racing thoughts
- Improve quality of sleep
- Find clarity when feeling overwhelmed
- Release deep-seated physical tension
Whether you join a group session, a corporate workshop at your office, or a private session with family, the intention remains the same: to help you arrive back to yourself.
Ashrita
I am Ashrita. My own journey into sound healing began with the simple, human need to find a place where I could stop performing and just exist. I created these sessions to offer you that same sanctuary—a place where you are invited to let go and simply arrive.
