The Art of Sound & Stillness: Deep Healing in Bengaluru
I use ancient instruments like quartz crystal bowls and Tibetan gongs to help you quiet the mental noise and find a moment of true rest. Come as you are.
A video showcasing some of my beautiful sound healing instruments. You can see the variety of bowls, chimes, and drums I use to create a rich tapestry of sound during my sessions.
A client lies in deep relaxation as a crystal singing bowl is positioned near their head. The pure, high-frequency vibration of the bowl is particularly effective for clearing mental chatter and promoting clarity.
About this collection
It is not just about listening to music; I use quartz crystal and metal Tibetan bowls to create specific frequencies. During a session, I use these instruments to create a sound bath that helps shift your brainwaves into a state of rest, similar to how a deep, guided nap feels for your nervous system. You do not need to do anything except lie down and let the vibration move through you.
Understanding Sound Therapy
Sound healing is a practical way to manage the 'tech neck' and mental clutter that comes with city life. My sessions are grounded in the idea that our bodies respond to frequency. When I play the crystal singing bowls or the deep gongs, those vibrations are not just heard—they are felt. This resonant frequency helps in nervous system regulation, effectively telling your body that it is safe to stop the 'fight or flight' response and finally exhale.
What Happens in a Session
Whether you are joining a group session at my Zen Yoga Shala in Thanisandra or booking a private home visit, the structure remains simple:
- Settling In: We begin by finding a comfortable position. You do not need to sit in meditation; you can lie down.
- The Soundscape: I introduce a mix of Tibetan bowls, rainsticks, and chimes. I carefully layer these sounds to create a landscape that encourages your mind to wander and then settle.
- Integration: We end with a short silence. This is often when people feel the most clarity—when the noise stops and you can hear your own thoughts again.
Why This Works for You
Many of my clients report better sleep and a lighter feeling in their shoulders after just one session. I work with individuals, couples, and even corporate teams looking for a productivity reset. If you are curious but haven't tried it before, do not worry. This space is held for everyone, regardless of your experience with yoga or meditation. You just have to arrive.
Ashrita
I am Ashrita, and I started using these instruments because I know how heavy life can feel. Whether we are in a quiet studio or your living room, my goal is simply to help you feel safe enough to finally let go and breathe.
