Aerial Yoga for Beginners in Paschim Vihar
Think you need to be super flexible to try aerial yoga? That is a total myth. I keep my classes small and safe so you can learn to fly at your own pace, right here in Paschim Vihar.
I don't move my body to fit in a dress. I move my body because it makes me feel great, because movement is medicine. This is the core of my teaching philosophy.
Teach your daughter to break the leg. Gol roti can wait. I believe in empowering women to be strong and fearless. And also, teach your son how to treat women with respect.
A memory from an Aerial Teacher Training Course (TTC) in Rishikesh. I am always a student first, constantly learning and deepening my own practice so I can be a better guide for you.
As a yoga teacher, I won't give you quick fixes. But I can promise that a consistent yoga practice can bring magic to your body and mind. It's about making it a lifestyle.
No flexibility required, no strength required. All you need is a desire to try new things. Trust me, if I can do this, you can do it too.
What are you waiting for? It's not about strength or flexibility, it's about giving yourself a completely new experience. Let's fly together.
About My Teaching Philosophy & Practice
You do not need any prior yoga experience or superhuman strength to get on the hammock. My beginner sessions focus entirely on helping you build that foundational confidence, using professional-grade mats and manual spotting to ensure you feel secure while you explore your first inversions.
Many people walk into my studio thinking they need to be gym-fit before they even touch a hammock. Bilkul galat soch hai (that is completely wrong). Aerial yoga is actually the perfect entry point if you feel stiff or intimidated by traditional mat yoga.
Why start your flight here?
- Spinal Decompression: If you spend your day hunched over a laptop, hanging in a hammock uses gravity to gently lengthen your spine. It is the best feeling after a long week.
- Core Engagement: The hammock is unstable, which forces your core to work without you having to do hundreds of crunches.
- Mental Reset: There is something about being suspended that forces you to be present. You cannot scroll your phone while you are hanging upside down.
What to expect in your first session
We keep the class size small (6 to 8 students) so I can personally spot everyone. We start with simple grips, move to basic hip hangs, and end with a floating Savasana. We use blocks for support and high-density mats for safety. You do not need to bring equipment; just bring your curiosity. Whether you are dealing with chronic back pain or just looking for a fun way to move, this space is for you.
Yogiks Yoga
I am Madhulika, and I traded my CA career for the yoga mat eight years ago because yoga gave me 'sukun' (peace). I run my studio here in Paschim Vihar like a family, not a clinical fitness centre. I am not about perfection; I am about getting you moving in a way that actually feels good.
