Aerial Yoga Student Stories and Experiences
See what my students have achieved on the mat. It’s not about being flexible from day one—it’s about overcoming fear and finding your strength.
It was so special to have mothers and their children join for a Mother's Day workshop. Listen to them share their experience of trying something new together and the sense of accomplishment they felt.
About Real Stories, Real Results
You will often hear students say they were terrified to even touch the hammock, let alone hang upside down. The most common moment I see is that first successful inversion—when a student realizes they didn’t fall, they flew. That switch from 'I can’t' to 'I did it' is exactly what happens in my Paschim Vihar studio, regardless of whether you are 7 or 70 years old.
Many people think aerial yoga is only for those who are already fit or super flexible. Bilkul galat soch hai (That's totally wrong). In my classes, I see people walk in with stiff backs and zero confidence, and walk out feeling like they’ve reclaimed their spine.
Whether you are a mother looking to bond with your kids or someone dealing with chronic back pain, these stories show that aerial yoga is for everyone. When we practice together, we aren't just doing gymnastics; we are decompressing our spines and letting go of the stress from our daily lives. You'll see parents and children sharing the hammock, or adults who never thought they could do a headstand realizing their actual strength.
The hammock becomes a safety net, both physically and mentally. It holds you, guides you, and eventually helps you let go. There is no pressure to be perfect here. We take it step-by-step, focusing on your breathing, your alignment, and that feeling of accomplishment when you finally nail a pose you thought was impossible. If you have been on the fence, just look at these experiences—the only thing you need to bring is your curiosity.
Yogiks Yoga
Hi, I’m Madhulika. I used to be a CA, but I traded spreadsheets for yoga mats to help people in Paschim Vihar find their strength. My studio is more like a family—we don’t do perfection here, we do real, messy, and joyful progress.
