You do not need to be a gymnast to try aerial yoga. Come hang, stretch, and find your balance in a silk hammock designed specifically for first-timers.

You are always supported here. I provide hands-on guidance, especially for beginners, to ensure you feel safe and confident as you learn to trust the hammock and explore new movements like this supported inversion.

The joy on a student's face as they find their balance is why I love teaching. This simple seated pose in the hammock is a great starting point for building confidence and getting comfortable with the apparatus.

Hear directly from one of our students. Himani shares her experience with our Teacher Training Course, highlighting the supportive environment and expert instruction that helped her explore a new dimension of her yoga practice.

Teamwork makes the dream work. Here, I'm assisting a student with an inversion, ensuring proper form and safety. This is a common sight in our classes, as we prioritize a secure and encouraging atmosphere for everyone.

Learning by watching is a key part of the process. I often demonstrate poses like this inversion to give students a clear visual, followed by step-by-step instructions so they can try it themselves.

Every movement is a learning opportunity. I'm here to guide you through each step, making small adjustments that make a big difference in your form and comfort, like in this assisted pose.

Finding comfort in the hammock is the first step. Here, I'm helping students get into a supported cocoon and inversion, showing how the silk can be used to both challenge and relax the body.

From the ground up, we build your confidence. This clip shows students learning to use the hammock for support in standing poses and gentle inversions, with instructors right there to help.

Simple stretches with the hammock can provide incredible relief. This standing leg stretch is a great way for beginners to improve hamstring flexibility without putting pressure on the lower back.

That smile of accomplishment is everything. This student is enjoying the simple pleasure of swinging and finding her balance, a perfect example of the fun and accessible nature of our beginner classes.

About First Flight: Your Beginner's Welcome

If you are nervous about whether you can actually "do" aerial yoga, leave that worry at the door. Every hammock in our studio is safety-rigged to handle much more than your body weight, and I am right there with you during every move, guiding your form so you feel secure long before you ever lift your feet off the ground.
