Think you need to be an acrobat to start aerial yoga? Bilkul galat (That's totally wrong). At my studio, we are a community that learns, laughs, and flies together, regardless of your fitness level.

The simple things are sometimes the most significant. Here, students are having fun while working on a synchronized flow, building a sense of connection and teamwork.

A few glimpses from our energetic 9:30 am weekend batch. The class is a mix of challenging flows, strength-building exercises, and lots of smiles.

This drill took us half a week to accomplish, and we thoroughly relished the process. The moment when everyone drops into the pose together is pure magic. Well done, guys!

About Our Flying Community

I keep my batches small—strictly 6 to 8 people—because aerial yoga isn't just about the 'flight,' it's about the safety net we build for each other. Whether you are a first-timer who is nervous about inverting or someone dealing with chronic back pain, you will find that we are less of a fitness class and more of a family, spotting each other and celebrating every small breakthrough on the mat.

It is very common to think, 'I am not flexible enough for this,' or 'I am too old to hang from a ceiling.' If you feel that way, you are in the right place. My aerial yoga community in Paschim Vihar is built exactly for people who think they cannot do it.

We use professional-grade silk hammocks rigged for safety, and we always use high-density mats underneath. The 'flying' part is fun, but the real work happens in the basics. We start with spinal decompression, which is a game-changer if you sit at a desk all day. We then move into grip training and core work, and yes, we do laugh a lot. It is hard to keep a straight face when you are hanging upside down, and that is exactly the point.

Here is how we do it:

  • Safety First: We follow a step-by-step approach. You learn the grip, then the hang, then the flow.
  • Progressive Training: We do not rush. You might start with assisted inversions, and eventually, we build up to those flips and drops you see in our sessions.
  • Recovery: Every class ends with a 'Floating Savasana' inside the silk, which is perhaps the most relaxed you will ever feel.

We are a mix of corporate professionals, students, and seniors, all working on our own strength at our own pace. There is no ego here—just support, a bit of sweat, and a lot of connection.
