Rejuvenate with Immersive Wellness Retreats
Life can get loud, and sometimes we just need to hit pause. My wellness retreats are about creating a safe space to breathe, disconnect from the city, and truly come back to yourself.
A few cherished moments from my 'Anubhuti' Yoga Retreat. We embraced serenity through yoga, laughter, and self-discovery, creating a space where every participant could find their own moments of joy and peace.
During a sharing circle at our Atmarpan Retreat, I guide a conversation in a safe and open environment. These circles are a core part of the experience, allowing for honest connection and collective healing.
Leading a sound healing session at the NeeRav Arts Village during the Atmarpan Retreat. I use the vibrations of Tibetan bowls to guide participants into a state of deep relaxation and inner peace.
It's a joy to see participants of all ages practicing yoga together. Here, a group including children engages in Dhanurasana (Bow Pose) during our family-friendly Atmarpan Retreat, showing that yoga is for everyone.
A collage showing two key elements of my retreats: group guidance and individual attention. On the right, I am providing a gentle, hands-on adjustment to a participant, ensuring they feel supported in their practice.
A close-up of a healing touch during a session at the Atmarpan Retreat. These small, mindful moments of connection are fundamental to the healing journey we embark on together.
A candlelight meditation session during one of my intimate Anubhuti yoga retreats. We create a calm and sacred atmosphere to help participants turn their awareness inward and find stillness.
About this collection
These aren't rigorous bootcamps where you have to look or act like a perfect yogi. Whether we are in the Nandi foothills or tucked away in nature, my focus is on 'Santosh'—a quiet sense of contentment. Expect rustic, eco-friendly stays where we keep things simple: pure vegetarian Sattvic meals, guided meditation, and enough quiet time to actually hear your own thoughts again.
Your Time to Pause
I design my 'Anubhuti' and 'Atmarpan' retreats to be a true departure from the daily grind. We move away from the noise and into environments where nature becomes part of the practice. My goal is to help you leave with a little more clarity than you arrived with.
What to Expect
- The Setting: We prioritize peaceful locations, often in the outskirts of Bengaluru or in lush settings like Munnar. The accommodation is rustic and eco-friendly—think comfortable, non-AC rooms with natural ventilation that help you stay grounded.
- The Flow: Days are balanced. You will find morning Vinyasa flows to wake up the body, followed by evening Restorative or Yin sessions to settle the mind. We include sound healing with Tibetan singing bowls and gongs to help release deep-seated tension.
- Community: I believe healing is better together. We incorporate sharing circles where you can speak your mind in a safe, judgment-free zone. It is a space for families, individuals, and anyone looking to reconnect.
- Food: We serve pure vegetarian, home-style Sattvic cooking. It is simple, clean, and nourishing—designed to support the healing work we do, not weigh you down.
Practical Details
My retreats are intimate by design. I limit group sizes to ensure everyone gets proper attention, whether we are doing hands-on adjustments or simply holding space during a meditation. Transport is generally excluded so we can meet at the venue and start fresh. If you are coming with family or as a solo traveler, you will find a place here.
Sreya Bhar
I’m Sreya. I started Samana Yog because I wanted to create safe circles where healing feels like a collective journey rather than a chore. Whether you're here for the sunrise hikes or the deep sound baths, my aim is to help you leave with a little more clarity than you arrived with.
