About this collection
We limit batches to 10 to 15 students because I need to see your alignment. Whether you attend in-studio at Chandra Layout or join my live stream, you get the same rigorous attention to detail. We prioritize safe biomechanics over aesthetics, using props like the rope wall to make Hatha yoga accessible without forcing your body into shapes it is not ready to hold.
My approach to teaching yoga comes from my background as an engineer, where I view the body as a system that responds to logic and consistency. At Yogavijnana, we do not view yoga as an immediate fix but as a process. Whether you are stepping into our studio or logging in from home, the philosophy remains the same: steady practice (Abhyasa) and proper guidance are the only ways to progress.
All new students begin with our Fundamentals of Yoga workshop. This ensures you understand body mechanics, alignment principles, and how breath integrates with movement before you enter group classes. We use props like belts, wooden bricks, and the Yoga Kurunta rope wall to provide traction and support, helping you deepen your practice safely.
My classes are hybrid by design. I set up my studio so that those joining on Zoom see exactly what those in the room see, and I actively guide students in both formats. We do not just perform asanas; we explore the science behind them, ensuring that your time on the mat serves your health, whether you are managing back pain, seeking flexibility, or simply trying to build a disciplined daily routine.
Yogavijnana
I am an engineer turned yoga practitioner, and at Yogavijnana, I treat yoga like a logical process. I will not rush you into advanced poses; we build a foundation using props and precise alignment so that whether you are in my Chandra Layout studio or joining from home, you are practicing safely.
