Aerial Yoga in Vikaspuri: Decompress and Find Your Balance
Using silk hammocks to challenge gravity, we work on spinal decompression, core strength, and deep flexibility in a safe, guided space.
Aerial yoga allows us to explore familiar poses in a new way. With the support of the hammock, students can safely move into deep backbends and inversions that might feel inaccessible on the mat.
Here, I'm assisting a student in an aerial version of Natarajasana (Dancer's Pose). The hammock provides stability, allowing for a deeper, more expressive backbend and heart-opening stretch while suspended in the air.
About Aerial Yoga: Play with Gravity
The hammock acts as a partner that supports your weight, allowing you to move into inversions and backbends that might feel too strenuous on the floor. Whether you are dealing with chronic back stiffness or just need to release physical tension, I use these silk hammocks to guide you through alignment, ensuring you get the benefits without the typical strain on your joints.
Aerial yoga is not about circus tricks or showing off flexibility. For me, it is about creating space in the body. When you hang from the hammock, you allow your spine to elongate and decompress naturally. This is especially effective if you spend hours at a desk or suffer from persistent neck and back pain.
We focus on safe entry and exit from poses. I personally guide you through every movement, providing hands-on adjustments to ensure your posture is aligned correctly. We integrate traditional pranayama with these aerial flows to help you connect the breath with the movement, even when you are suspended.
You do not need to be flexible to start. The hammock is there to support you. We practice various flows, from simple restorative stretches to more active inversions like Headstands. This is for everyone—men, women, and seniors looking to improve mobility. If you are in Vikaspuri or around West Delhi, come in for a trial to see how this works for your specific body needs.

I believe yoga is an internal journey of alignment, much like fixing a car's wheels. Here in Vikaspuri, I help you use the aerial hammock not just for strength, but to find that inner balance we often lose in the rush of life.
