About Our Community in Action
Moving with a group changes your practice. You might find it hard to show up on your own, but when you are part of a community, the energy is different. We keep it real—no ego, no competition, just a collective effort to breathe, align, and find balance. You do not need to be flexible to join our group sessions; you only need to show up.
Why Practice in a Group?
Yoga is an internal journey, but it is also a social one. Solitary practice is powerful, but there is a unique strength in 'sangat' (community). When we move together, breathe together, and sweat together, we are not just doing asanas; we are creating a collective field of focus.
Where We Connect
My community work spans far beyond the four walls of my Vikaspuri studio:
- Outdoor Community Sessions: We take the mat to public spaces like malls and parks to make yoga accessible and visible to everyone. It is about normalizing a healthy lifestyle in the middle of a busy city.
- International Retreats: From the serene landscapes of Thailand to the mountains, these retreats are for deep dives. We leave behind the routine, the phone, and the stress to reconnect with ourselves in nature.
- Corporate & Special Events: I lead sessions for International Yoga Day and office workshops, helping teams find a moment of pause amidst the pressure of modern work.
What to Expect
Do not worry about being the most flexible person in the room. My group sessions are designed to be supportive, not competitive. Whether we are practicing Surya Namaskar in a large group or trying partner stretches, my focus is on safety, alignment, and shared joy.
We use props like blocks and straps to ensure everyone, regardless of age or experience, can participate fully. Join us for a session—let us see if we can find that stillness, together.
